Assassin's Creed Scenarios

So essentially to give some context, the blog was more or less birthed from the fact that I had too much free time, not a lot of friends, no job, easy schooling, and a desire to actually practice my writing again.

I started this blog when I had just entered college to do a bridge program to enter a university’s Nursing program and as such my courses were a lot lighter than I had expected. At this same time I had also gone through drama with my irl friends and had lost much of them as a result, leaving me with about two friends left who were usually either busy (or ghosting me, but that’s another story for another day). Since I had no friends in college and was bad at making them, and had more free time to myself I had decided “fuck it” and made this blog.

I had never expected it to gain the immense following that it did and such a short amount of time and to have such an active group of people interacting with me. It was nice, you guys became my friends and I was always striving to write for you guys because you were all so supportive of my work. I kept it going for as long as possible and made numerous friends in the process but as the years passed my life went through many changes.

As the year progressed and I made more friends online that I interacted with outside of this blog I found myself with slightly less free time. At the same time I also opened my other writing blogs and gained friends through that so I found myself with even LESS time. Eventually I went through an abundance of online drama with my friends and my friend group has shrunk again, really consisting of me spending time with my boyfriend and my other friends as they stop by and say hello. The biggest turning point for me, I felt was the fact that I had gotten my hands on Overwatch and found friends to play with often so I found myself playing Overwatch almost day and night and spending time with these friends. Essentially trading one interest for another and stopping my writing in favour of this game. 

Eventually my love for Overwatch died down and now I don’t even play it anymore but there have been more factors in my life that have also affected my ability to write for this blog. The biggest factor was me entering university. My program was and is currently very difficult and with my course-load coupled with my clinical placements which takes up 16 hours either every week to every two weeks I found myself too drained emotionally and mentally after classes to even bother sitting down and writing, usually directing my time towards something a little less taxing on my mind. Along with that I also got a job which takes up anywhere from 6-18 hours of my time in a week, leaving me even MORE tired when I come home.

Along with that my mental illness has flared up again, and while I work on regulating it I’ve taken a major hit to my motivation and energy as well so It’s been a slippery slope with that.

My life has gone through many changes that have taken up a majority of the time that I have spent writing and I haven’t been able to find the time or energy to fit writing back into my schedule again but I would really REALLY love to! And I’ve said that I’ve wanted to get back into writing and I’ve tried but I just can’t seem to make it stick as much as I’d like to. But I just want to thank you all for staying by me all this time and supporting me and my work. You guys have been such a positive influence on my life and I want to be able to return the favour by bringing you guys joy and happiness through my writing. I don’t know if I’ll be able to do that but I’d like to try, and if I cannot, thanks for being with me on the ride, guys.
