We are in the waiting room of your pain. Technicolored and sharp as a blade.Â
In the infirmary of your arsenal. In the hospital of your greatest waking, shaking all of the cold, steel metal slabs in the morgue, that are full of bodies relentlessly quaking.Â
In the memory of time we all wait in line, with bags and purses stuffed full of expired receipts, and coupons that can only buy us things we do not need.Â
We are all borrowing numbers from one another, comparing what it all must mean. And choking on everything we will never be.Â
We are all enemies of the sate. We are all pockets full of posies and a day too late. We are trauma dumping in the girls’ bathroom. After one too many drinks. It is the only semblance of sanctuary you have when your head is buried in your knees, back pressed against a wall filled with disease.Â
And with half the brain in tune you stumble and you mumble. And suddenly, we’re all brave enough to ask others why they still love us despite knowing all our worst things.  The men are there too. We’re all sugar dissolved rooms. All the walls made out of paper mache, with windows crafted of iridescent plastics, that plant halos on our faces set to decay.Â
And the incessant raw noise of the blowdryer that just can’t be ripped off the wall, keeps guzzling and blaring in spite of it all.Â
The guitarist on the stage knows 4 chords, that keep rumbling through the stalls. The bass player knows less. The drummer keeps asking for the key, while you drunkenly balance your feet on the door. Trying to keep your ass off the seat.Â
We’re all in the psych ward at whatever suburban general hospital we got dropped off to as kids. We’re all gonna win with drugs in our skin.Â
We are in the waiting room of your pain. We are all made up by your brain. Â
