Can you write a oneshot of Modern au Levi finding out that author reader based one of her character's off of him?? 😋
-🎀non
You often shut yourself in your office, occupied by the book you were desperately trying to finish writing. Obviously, this led to you neglecting not only yourself but your relationship with your fiancé, Levi too. This particular night was a sleepless one, you'd stayed up longer than normally, eyes drifting to the clock on the wall that read one-ten a.m.
"Shit." You cursed, eyes blown wide as you stared at the bright screen of your computer.
In the hours you've been sitting there you only wrote twenty thousand words. You pondered on what you've completed so far, some progress was better than none after all. Slowly, you closed your eyes — leaning back in your chair as sleep finally took you.
In your time away from your shared bed, Levi has been waiting for you and he wasn't well-known for his patience. Kicking off the sheets he marched over to your office, ready to peel you out of that chair and carry you off to bed to get the rest you so desperately needed. To find you slumped over in your chair, fast asleep wasn't what he expected.
"This fucking book better be worth it," he commented though there was no malice in his tone. "better be worth you staying all hours of the night."
Levi wrapped his as around your waist, leaning in to kiss your cheeks and caress the bags underneath your eyes. Your computer was still open and Levi couldn't help but look. One of your main characters; stoic and dark haired, diligent, loyal.
"Levi…?" You stirred, eyes half-lidded.
"Is that guy supposed to be me?" He had to ask.
You lifted your head, still cradled by exhaustion. "Maybe."
He softened more then, you'd always mention that the people in your life gave you inspiration but…
"He better be the coolest, even better than main character."
"He is the main character, silly."
CALL HER MOM
levi × wife!reader | "secret" relationship
making breakfast in the morning always comes with its hardships, you and levi have three children together with each child being pickier than the next. though, despite that, it's your husband who is hardest to feed. you aren't sure if it's because of his upbringing but levi ackerman doesn't eat much.
he'll pick at his plate, eating what he can only for him to never finish it entirely. you suspect it's because he finds it utterly disgusting. "it's too much food." he'd say. but oh, those eyes you give him — full of sadness and disappointment. there's still scraps of the servings of eggs you'd given him on his plate and he only took one bite out of his mountain of waffles.
"i can make you something else-" you'd offer, only for the man to lick the plate clean. no one takes care of him the way you do and he appreciates all of it, even the ridiculous portions you give him.
YOU JUST WANT ME 'CAUSE I'M NEXT
It had only been a few days since the party, you'd left abruptly without little explanation, though the reason was clear. You never uttered another word to Levi as you pushed past him and raced home. You didn't sleep that night, lying awake until the sun rose again and your tears dried. Crying over something that was long lost seemed stupid.
You'd turned your phone off last night, opting to ignore any calls or messages that might've disturbed your incessant sobbing. Now, as you turned it back on your screen was completely bombarded with notifications — mostly coming from a number you didn't recognize. Was it Levi? No, it couldn't be, you changed your number after the breakup.
Maybe Nanaba? No, she'd only called a few times with her last message being; "call me when you're able, worried about you."
It was hard to get out of bed, peeling your body from the mattress was taxing and made you feel weak. But nonetheless, you dragged yourself to the bathroom and took a good look at yourself in the mirror. Your mouth was dry, hair tousled, eyes reddened and puffy. The cold water spewing from the bathroom sink made something itch deep in your skull, the shock of the water on your face wasn't much help either — but it awoke something in you.
Courage to look through the thousands of messages and calls? Calling Nanaba was what you did first, you felt guilty for leaving without telling her first.
"(Reader)?" Nanaba's voice was a warm, comforting balm.
"Nanaba," you began. "I-"
She interrupted; "Oh my god, I was so worried. You left like something horrid happened." The poor woman probably didn't see Levi head up the stairs after you had excused yourself.
"I saw Levi." You admitted, only silence followed after with the occasional shallow breath that Nanaba took.
"I suspected that he was the reason why you left." That comment piqued your curiosity. "I know you haven't been keeping up but ever since you and Levi went your separate ways, things have been different." Nanaba didn't let you get a word in before continuing to speak.
"Not just in the sense that there's a hole where you two used to be but different in the way that Levi's behavior has changed." You let Nanaba speak freely, listening with intent to hear what she had observed.
You were sat upon the edge of your bed now, back pressed against the pillows you had purposefully positioned in an odd manner. Light poured in through your thin curtains, dust began to collect on them — something Levi would've never allowed if he was here. If he was still with you. Then she said it, something you'd never would've guessed if you had to figure this all out on your own;
"Levi's mother, Kuchel, is sick. It was Erwin who'd known for ages and had only told us a week after you moved out of Levi's apartment. Apparently, it's serious — bad enough for rhe poor woman to be bedridden in the hospital."

TO PLUCK THE FEATHERS OFF ALL THE BIRDS
Levi was already there when you arrived, there was no avoiding him now. You should've stayed home, you knew little of the people attending and in truth — you were just here to support Erwin. Your relationship with Levi was a rocky one, not at first, no. He was attentive, kind and everything one would want in a partner. That was until everything went sour.
Your relationship strained, he became distant, it was over before it had even begun. Despite being in celebration of Erwin's success, the party wasn't hosted by the man himself and instead was held by Mike Zacharias.
"Hey! I'm surprised you came." Nanaba greeted as she walked towards you with two separate drinks in her hands, offering one to you — which you gladly take.
"Yeah," you smile. "wouldn't miss it for the world."
Nanaba leaned against the wall, her expression one of pity now. It was like she could sense your inherent discomfort. Despite being around a bunch of friends, the mere presence of Levi made you sweat.
"No, really, I'm glad you came." She reiterated. "Even with…him here."
Levi minded his own, surrounded by Petra, Hange, Oluo and Erwin. he looked at petra like how he used to look at you; longing and lovingly. Your heart clenched. Maybe, just maybe you weren't completely over him.
"Nanaba, can you hold this?" You excused yourself as you pushed your drink into her empty hand.
"Sure?" She stumbled, looking at you with wide eyes as you promptly stepped off upstairs.
It was more crowded than it was downstairs, cups lined the floor and the air reeked of something foreign. The bathroom door was wide open and you took the chance to run in and shut the door behind you before anyone could say otherwise. Turning around, there were piss stains all over the seat — you wouldn't think this party was in celebration of something professional. Disgusting.
So instead of sitting, you stood, looking at your reflection in the mirror as you fought it the urge to cry. A knock at the door made you jolt.
"Are you sulking in there?" It was unmistakable, it was Levi.
You cleared your throat, straightening your posture: "I'm washing my hands." You retorted.
"Then why isn't the water running?" He asked, the sound of his voice somehow drowned out the sound of the loud music.
Before you could come up with a witty comeback the doorknob twisted — the crack widened and at the other side of the door was Levi. There was no avoiding him now. You really should've stated home.

arguing with levi and he just ends up pulling you into a hug, he know you two won't always agree or get along, even as a couple but the last thing he wants to do is put distance in between you both. "i'm sorry," he says, kissing your shoulder. "we shouldn't argue-i don't want us to grow apart." it's a somewhat surprising display of vulnerability, his eyes are sad, tired and so are yours.
embracing him back, you nod—smelling the soapy scent on his skin. "i'm sorry too." you whisper into his ear, also smelling a faint scent of aftershave. "i love you, levi." the hug grows tighter, pulling your chest closer to his. "i love you too." he sighs.
