i'm stating this now, i think killian is the worst rina kent man (from what I've read so far). he r*ped glyndon, groomed her, and harmed her, and glyndon, being my least favourite rina kent fmc, somehow was groomed into agreeing that she wanted it.

and one thing i HATE is the landon slander. i hated that glyndon said she and brandon were a team against landon, that glyndon constantly demonises landon while adoring killian when KILLIAN IS WORSE.

glyndon and brandon (more heavy on glyn) think that landon only ever protected them from bullies because he viewed them as 'his property' WHEN THATS NOT FUCKING TRUE. what i don't understand is how glyndon could view killian's downright toxicity as love, but treat landon's overprotectiveness and controlling tendencies as cruel.

ok, yes, landon did try and control glyndon's love life, and did waterboard killian, but THAT WAS LANDON'S OVERPROTECTIVENESS. yes its extreme but thats just him. he did do it out of love for glyndon and it was an asshole move since glyn told him to leave kill alone, still.

ASPD is a chronic mental health condition marked by a persistent, callous disregard for the rights, safety, and feelings of others. it often involves manipulation, impulsivity, criminality, and a lack of remorse.

this is the condition that both landon and killian have. killian's version of the condition makes him crave violence. he wants to kill people and hurt people psychically. and he did r@pe glyndon MULTIPLE times but that was all excused as love and yearning.

with landon, he states in GOR that he doesn't like harming people psychically, rather he enjoys toying with their mind. and landon beat the shit out of brandon's bullies and didnt let glyndon date guys he didnt approve of, but these are instances of him being overprotective. ITS HIS WAY OF SHOWING THEM HE CARES. they just never took it that way. its clear because of landon's ASPD he finds it really hard to openly express affection so he does so through his art or as seen, being over protective of his siblings.

people with ASPD often struggle to experience love in a traditional, neurotypical way due to a lack of empathy, remorse, and emotional bonding. while they may not feel love, they can form intense attachments based on loyalty or possessiveness, often viewing loved ones as extensions of themselves. 

this is very commonly shown with landon. he struggles deeply with expressing himself and sees his siblings as (somewhat) extensions of himself though this is more heavily exhibited with bran, with the whole "my other half" thing they have with each other. he is incredibly possessive of his siblings, but he is incredibly loyal to them. and the thing is that once glyndon and brandon finally voice the reason for their avoiding of landon, landon listens asks brandon for lessons on empathy.

another thing is that landon is trashed mostly for being a bad brother, right?

KILLIAN IS A SHIT BROTHER. he used to beat gareth up to unleash his violent tendencies, and gareth TOOK it. he used to belittle gareth. gareth TOOK it. killian is a way worse brother and boyfriend to gareth and glyndon, and landon is actually a decent brother if you try and look into and understand his actions, taking his aspd into account. landon also actually respects mia, didn't rape her, and helped her get her voice back. killian CONSTANTLY belittled everyone around him, INCLUDING glyndon, and people still fawn over him and hate landon. come on.

tbh, the double standards between the 2 are just utterly ridiculous and people need to stop praising killian like a god because he isn't and stop hating landon.

I have a family friend who worked at our local Salvation Army headquarters as a a secretary. This particular office took all the Christmas donations for children in need, put them in a warehouse, and on a designated day the staff and their friends picked through them all, taking whatever they wanted. She saw people hauling away bikes donated for specific families. Some local children had hundreds of dollars of gifts donated in their name, and on Christmas they received three cheap things, items likely not even from the person who sponsored them.

My friend quit, and I’ve not given them a dime of my money since then.

I’m a wildfire and disaster logistics specialist.

I deal with a lot of agencies who provide disaster relief.

I used to say the Salvation Army’s disaster services were the one (literally the ONE) good thing they did.

They would come in, set up a canteen trailer, make and pass out hot coffee and donated food in a disaster, usually being one of the first agencies to get there and the last to leave.

Then I found out.

Every time they did this, regardless of if they were actually invited or deployed by the agency in charge (usually FEMA, sometimes others) they would SELF-DEPLOY. Meanjng they would just show up. Ok. That’s not TOO bad, sometimes agencies have to take initiative and get there before the red tape is sorted out. BUT. They, after they left at the end of the incident, they would send FEMA or the host agency a BILL. They used one or two paid employees (usually the driver of the truck and a supervisor); and many VOLUNTEERS, but they would bill for EVERYONE’s Labor at standard federal rates. They would bill for the food they distributed even though it was all donated by another agency or private parties. They would bill for the coffee they made and the supplies. Except they would use electricity from the shelter location, water from donations or from the shelter, and in many cases, they would get the coffee and industrial filters DONATED, but bill for them at retail prices.

Salvation Army reached out to Milknmuffins and asked what shelter she’s at with the promise to address the abuse in it. She…ended up saying where she was. She was thrown out onto the street. It’s also all on Twitter.

They invited her to a personal talk so she could explain the situation in person.

A victim literally escaped Jeffrey Dahmer’s apartment naked with a hole drilled in his head and unable to speak but police let Dahmer take him back to his apartment like everything was ok!

And I guess he doesn’t count as a serial killer but Eric Harris had already been making threats and harrassing students to an extreme degree before Columbine- police literally had a search warrant but they just never acted on it. If they had, they would have found the guns and pipe bombs and the shooting could have been easily prevented. They even tried to cover this up afterwards.
