I wanted to share a story with you guys.
I haven’t cried for almost a year. I don’t know how, i don’t know why. It’s not like i dodn’t get sad at times. I did. And there have been times when things were too much. But when that happened i kinda just sat in a quiet room and stared at a wall or something, waiting for tears to come and sort of help me (?). But they never did.
However, today, I saw pics of Taehyung, Namjoon, Jin, Jimin, JHope and Jungkook crying and a pic of Yoongi breaking down in tears. That hit me like a truck. They’ve worked so hard, they’ve been through so much, they’ve achieved so many great things and they have been so so strong. The rehearsals, the album making process, the concerts, shows, the lack of sleep, having to act like everything’s okay even if it’s not, staying strong and always smiling so the fans wouldn’t be worried, not being able to see their family… it is hard. It brings pain. And they’ve kept all their thoughts and feelings inside and pushed forward. And now, their dream came true.
So after seeing a picture of Yoongi, who said he’d only cry at the Olympic Gym Arena, breaking down, kneeling on the floor and crying and the rest of the members tearing up and opening their hearts once again…I…it triggered my tears to flow like a river.
Thank you BTS, for being the best idols anyone could ask for, thank you for being my inspiration, my motivation and an amazing influence.
