31. What’s your ideal fic length to write?
ive gotten pretty good at smashing out 3-4k fics in one or two sittings! i think you can create a good emotional story in that length while it not being too ambitious
32. What’s your ideal fic length to read?
im an absolute sucker for those oneshot 20k fics they always hit so fucking hard 😭😭 I don't mind longer fics but anything over 90k is a bit arduous and anything under 2k I feel unsatisfied by. 90% of what I read is in the 2-6k zone I feel like that's the fic sweet spot, like a little nighttime treat before I go to bed
36. Do you visualize what you read/write?
more than that, I act that shit out!! in bed I'll be saying lines to myself (mainly so I can workshop something into being funny but also sometimes to hone the emotions in a scene lmao). it's how I try to make sure the dialogue sounds like something a real human would say
45. What’s something you’ve improved on since you started writing fic?
omg what HAVENT i improved? i started fic writing (+ creative writing more generally) over a decade ago. biggest different is that now I get a lot more compliments about my characterisation, I've put a lot of effort into making sure the characters in the fandoms I write for sound like themselves. when i first started you could probably take the fic and apply it to anyone and have it be the same super generic/bland storyline and characterisation.
my dialogue writing has massively improved which is why I harp on about it all the time. I still consciously try to cut down on internal monologues and make it more showy not telly, but I think I need to switch it up. I pay a lot of attention (maybe TOO much attention) to where characters are looking, but Im self-conscious about that as I think it's getting too repetitive (I'm always saying shit about someone's gaze)

Just came out of Kevin Langue Show (KLS) tour performance!! It was so fun, the activity was guess the rapper and everyone did so well in their freestyles. The rap battle was crazy the disses went personal 😂 I love that most of the participants for the rap were girls they were so cool and confident. It was like watching a normal KLS YouTube video and the best thing is, TWO MORE VIDEOS ON SATURDAY YESSIRRRR
I made 25 prints, wanted to give one to the boys but it was so crowded. But I ended up giving all away to fans outside! Big achievement as a shy, awkward artist
