Chipotle is a lot healthier than people give them credit for. Many of their menu options provide a well balanced meal for it's customers. Many of the options are high in calories but are not empty calories so no need to be sacred away. Chipotle also is very affordable as the standard cost before extra additives is $7.35 which is not much more then many other less healthy alternatives.

Fruits are a very important aspect to ones diet and life. When one consumes fruits they help stimulate their immune system as well as fuel their body in a healthy and natural way. Also many different things can be made from fruit so you can get creative with it.

Breakfast is indeed the most "important meal of the day." This is why you must eat it the right way. Many breakfast foods today are very high in fat and calories. This is not beneficial to the point of breakfast. Breakfast is supposed to be a meal to begin the fueling if your body for the day. If u put garbage in to start off that is how you will feel. People need to start looking into healthier alternatives such as lean sausage and eggs and fruit for breakfast and look away from highly fatty sausage and hash browns and sugary breakfast foods.

Eating salad is very important to maintaining a healthy diet. It provides a well balanced meal in many cases ingredient permitting. However, if u are trying to lose weight and feel great after salad is a good meal choice for you. To begin with lettuce is very low in calories which is also filling. This helps one lose weight rather quickly as they begin to lower their calorie intake. Adding extras like fruits and grilled lean meats can lead to the perfect balanced meal. Only Downside is if you drown the salad in dressing as it adds significant calories.

Water is a very valuable part of staying healthy and losing weight. As many people know the human body is primarily made up of water and needs to be constantly retained. Also if one is trying to lose weight drinking close to a gallon a day helps the body cleanse itself of toxins by increasing ones ability to perspire. Lastly water can reduce ones appetite so one can have less of a chance of eating unhealthy food.

This picture stood out to me because it really emphasizes how diet can help one live a more disease free life. Many fruits and vegetables have the ability to reduce ones chances of contracting cancer we well as many other bad diseases. Diet really can make an impact on ones life

I found this article very informative because it shows how we can get protein from a variety of sources contrary to many beliefs. In fact some of these alternatives are better than meat as they posses less fat than certain cuts of meat as well as are less expensive. Like I have said many times people in America need to be better educated on the food they eat so we all can live healthier and happier lives.

I find this picture very interesting because it has so much meaning to it. As you can see the picture makes out a face with a smile on it. This speaks to me because it means eating healthy leave you happy as well as your body. People need to see the benefit in eating healthy as it provides so many benefits over time to ones body.

As I was saying earlier the fact that fast food is growing in size is a major problem the size amounts have more than doubled. This includes in amount of preservative and other unhealthy ingredients. This is gonna only increase the obesity level in our country and lower the national health as a whole. Something needs to be done about this!

One major problem in fast food is that portion sizes are only getting larger. While this may seem like a good thing that we are getting more bang for our buck it simply is not. Bigger portions means more of the unhealthy contents of the food being served. In the 1950's hamburgers from McDonalds were barely processed and were half the size. The fact that we are getting bigger scares me because it will only make the effect of food related diseases increase

This quote has become very inspirational to me, especially since the start of this class I have tried to be more attentive to what I eat on a daily basis. People need to realize as stated earlier how synthetic and fake fast food is and, should cut back on it as much as humanly possible. People need to look at a healthier diet as putting in higher quality fuel to keep the body operating as efficiently as possible. You wouldn't put bad quality gas In your car so why would you do that to you ?

Eating healthy needs to be more highly emphasized in American culture. Too many Americans nowadays are eating unhealthfully which has lowered Americas overall health as a country. If people learn about eating a more nutritional diet they will benefit greatly as they will have more energy be more focused and feel and look better overall.

People need to realize how important it is to eat a healthy diet as well as train hard. This is the key to true physical fitness as  both diet and exercise go hand in hand. America unfortunately,  is headed  in the wrong direction. Many Americans are eating increasingly unhealthy diets as well as neglecting to participate in enough physical activity to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Americans need to be increasingly  made aware of the importance of a healthy lifestyle as Americas overall health is sub par.
