The CSW was a very invigorating experience. There were many interesting and creative projects to be seen as I walked around the ballroom. One of the most interesting things about the CSW was to see what other sections of 121 were doing over the course of the semester, as our classes unit was food. When I was walking around to Get a closer look I noticed, Each section was given a table in which was in similar size and space to present projects as was given my class. On these tables were several creative projects, that often grabbed my eye and made me walk over and inquire about them. However, one in particular caught my eye. It was called "Fracking" by Josh Plonka. Since it was so interesting I decided to interview him On his project. The first question that came up was of course what is Fracking? As I have no background on this subject. He replied telling me that it was how companies have been drilling for natural resources to get the most efficiency as possible. This in turn leads to negative effects in earth that will hurt the earth more and more down the road. The more I heard the more my interest grew in Fracking, as it really effects all of us and not a small group of people. As interesting as the topic was what really got me over to Josh's project was how aesthetically pleasing it was. I felt like if it drew me to it as I saw it in the distance. As a whole a learned a lot at the CSW. The CSW was a very fun and interactive experience as well, As I was able to experience many fellow English 121 students creativity. Overall the CSW was a very fun experience that I will not forget in which I intend to return to someday.
