"I knew you were weird," Abraham was quick to play into the teasing banter that settled between them. He nodded his head, "I'm sure there is one." Though he left it as that, falling quiet as he watched Georgia continue to go through the photographs. When she handed him one once more, he felt his throat start to close up just looking at it. It was coming up on the one year anniversary of Diana's passing in a short time. It had both gone painfully slow and quickly, especially with all that had happened since losing her. "We should." His fingers careful held the photograph, as if it were fragile. "She would have loved you living here." @georgiaelliot

"Oh, Rosie, no." Clementine exhaled, leaning forward, kneeling so she was looking at Rosie more directly. She took a moment to let explain to Rosie that she couldn't feed the horse the lollipop she'd been eating and explaining the diet of horses. Not that any of this was new to Rosalie; Clementine had been reading her a horse facts book for the last week as it had been something Rosalie had become interested in in the last couple weeks. "We can probably see some other horses too - " she paused, only standing once the conversation was over when she spotted Abraham in the distance. "Look who it is, Ro." she smiled. "Let's go say hi." she stated, waving as she made her way towards him.

Abraham often traveled around the estate and running into people was part of the job. However, it was one of the parts that he enjoyed. The people were just as important to him as the horses. Together, they'd forge magical bonds. As he approached Clementine and Rosie, the corners of his lips curled upward. "Hi there, Rosie," Abraham's lips parted into a grin and he looked to the young girl and then up to Clementine. "Don't worry, one lollipop won't hurt this girl here. But only one," he winked at Rosie with a playfulness threading through his tone. "Just getting here or on your way out?" @clementinebeaumont

Georgia finally felt like she had time to organize more of her things since moving into the house with Abraham. While the more important things were put away and had been for months, there were still a few boxes she just needed to find space for. She was putting a few things in a closet when a box fell and spilled open. She bent down to pick it up and smiled as she saw the pictures. A young Abraham, his family, pictures of the farm. She walked into the living room with the box in hand and held some of the pictures up. "Look what I found." She moved and sat down next to her boyfriend. "Look how young you were. I remember having such a crush on you."

Abraham looked up a the sound of Georgia entering the room. He had only been half-paying attention to the television and his expression immediately shifted to suspicion at the box in her hand. "Oh no," he laughed softly as he saw the photographs in her hand. "I did not expect those to ever see the light of day again." He said, moving to make room on the couch for her so that she could sit down. Abraham's gaze landed on the photo, taking his younger self in. "You had a crush on a teenage boy that smelled of hay and bad decisions?" He teased her, smiling in her direction. "I never would have guessed." Abraham's tone was easy still, lifting an arm to place it on the back of the couch behind her. "It feels like a whole different life." @georgiaelliot

"Wait they don't?" Emma paused, gaze only shifting from the view in front of them to the other for a second, then her gaze landing on the horses they were riding. "I can't imagine having a horse and never coming out here." she exhaled. "It's like those people that have dogs and cats and never do anything with them." she exhaled, blinking. If she thought about it long enough she'd cry. A softy at heart. "Would it be helpful if you had someone that consistently came out to take those horses on rides?" she questioned. "I know with Lightening here it was a request of the family but would that be something you'd allow? I've been wanting to do a little more volunteering in areas that I'm not strong in like animals or things that don't require reading book." she shrugged. "And I think coming out here once a week, couple times a week, would be therapeutic." @abrahamxwhitney

The surprise in her tone wasn't one that he didn't expect. In fact, growing up, it had surprised him too. After some time, though, he got used to the fact that people often boarded their horses for a variety of reasons. One of those more common reasons was because they did not necessarily want to do the dirty work of having to take care of the horse on a daily basis and had the money to avoid doing so. With her question, Abraham pursed his lips, mulling it over for only a beat. "I think that would be helpful." His smile was warm as he looked over at her for. "I find it to be therapeutic myself." He always had, honestly. "They can read people better than most people realize." @emmajlin

"Can't believe that it's almost summer. I bet with a lot of kids off school it means tons of events and plus the number of tourist we get and it's good for business too right." @abrahamxwhitney

"Yeah, something like that, huh? Abraham huffed a quiet laugh at Vincent's words. At the mention of summer, he nodded his head. "Yeah, it is good for business." He agreed with a smile on his lips. "Kids love the horses and parents always love tiring their kids out. It's my goal that everyone leaves happy." It was a good business model to have, or so he thought. "I've got some camps, shows, riding lessons," he trailed on, "a wedding or two, as well, actually." He told Vincent. "Pretty much anything one can think of when they come from all over and decide they want to reconnect with nature for a few days." @vincentxcastro

Abraham's lips curled into a playful smile with her question. "Yes, we are engaged to be engaged." As much as he knew that they'd both be fine with him making it a commitment right here, right now, it didn't feel like what either of them deserved. After everything the two of them had been through, Abraham wanted the proposal to show how much she meant to him. How much she had meant to him for his entire life, no matter how far the distance between them. He took her hand, pulling it up so that he could brush his lips across her knuckles. "It's you and me." @georgiaelliot

"Nice to meet you as well." he smiled a little wider, eyes focusing on the other. "No problem. not only is this kind of thing right up my alley, I've gotta make a living somehow." he laughed. Sure, he received income from the military but Spencer wasn't sure he was ever someone that would want to slow down and stay home. He enjoyed having something to do, something to look forward to. It had been a perk that this project had been at the stables; a view that he could get used to. As the other put the horse away, making Spencer nod as he followed his lead he laughed slightly. "Your ole' man stubborn too?" he asked. "My dad was, that sounds exactly like the kind of thing he'd do. Not want to put in the work and make me do it later." he laughed. "Though I'm sure it's not that bad; maybe just bad enough to be a safety hazard." @abrahamxwhitney

Abraham nodded his head to the man's words. He had a feeling they'd get along just fine. There was something about the other that told Abraham that neither of them were all that good at sitting still. "Mhm, yeah, stubborn is one way to word it." Laughter bubbled over his lips and he shook his head. "Hell, I'm certain they'd create a whole new word to describe how set in his ways he could be." It had taken time, even, for Abraham to break down the old man's walls once he had taken over the estate for himself. "He's a bit better in his retirement but now it's my problem." His laughter softened and he wore a smile that was thoughtful as he spoke of his father. "I can't say I've seen you around before. Are you new to town?" @spencerredding

Once they were both on top of their horses and Emma took the lead, she let the view take over most of her senses. Riding in the quiet for a moment, Lightening McQueen taking the lead, eagerly happy to be riding where they were headed towards. It was only once some of the pent up energy had subsided and he slowed down that she found herself riding next to Abraham. "I say this every time but I really do need to make a point to get out here more." she exhaled. "These views are stunning. You get to ride a lot or are you usually too busy doing the extra work?" @abrahamxwhitney

Letting Emma take the lead, Abraham led his horse out until they were on the trails. They were quiet for a moment, but it wasn't one that needed to be filled immediately. For that, he could be grateful. He found that too many people spoke just to hear themselves talk, but he could tell that Emma was far more intentional. "These views are stunning." He couldn't help but agree. Despite living on the property, he was often in awe of them, taking brief pauses to take in all of the beauty. "I do, yeah. It's important for me to get out here and ride a couple times of week. For the horses too. Not everyone comes to visit their horses, so I try to rotate who gets out." @emmajlin

Abraham's heart swelled in his chest, not thinking that he'd be able to feel a sort of happiness like this after his sister's death. He knew there would always be a giant hole in his heart where she was, but he also knew that Di would have pushed him to propose to Georgia the minute he saw her when she first returned to town. "Then, we will make that happen." His smile was warm, "This is me promising that I will ask you to marry me, but in the way you deserve. Not mid-conversation." @georgiaelliot

"That's good, I have been known for my perfect timing. It's one of my super powers," he added raising his brow up and down as he joked. "What else is new with you other than work?" @abrahamxwhitney

"It does tend to get the better of us." Abraham had been guilty of falling into work so much that not much else got his attention. Fortunately, he had Georgia to help ground him in a more reasonable reality. They helped each other not burn out from their inability to stop caring. Abraham let out a quiet huff of laughter at Vincent's words. "Yeah, I've heard that. You're always showing up right when people need you." He jested back to the man. At his question, he leaned back on his heels. "Honestly, not much. Work is steady, the estate is keeping me busy. Georgia moved in at the beginning of the years so we have more time for one another which has been a help." And the house wasn't so empty now that his sister was no longer around. "As summer approaches, it's going to get busier, but I'm still finding time to be intentional when I can." @vincentxcastro

"You're good, man." Spencer shook his head, extending his hand to shake the others. He didn't mind a little dirt or anything else that may be on the other's hands. He'd had worse in his opinion, especially with his time in the military. "I have as much time as you need, so, really do whatever you need first. I can even help if you want. I don't have much experience with horses but I'll do my best." he added. "Spencer." he replied as the other told him his name. "Lucky for you there's not much that I can't fix." he shrugged, realizing he was being conceited, but at the end of it all he was proud of the work he knew how to do. "I'll know more about what I need and if I need another set of hands though once I see it." @abrahamxwhitney

"Nice to meet you, Spencer, I appreciate you coming out." Abraham didn't like to ask for help but running the estate on his own came with challenges. As much as he'd like to be everywhere all at once, it wasn't possible. "If you ever want to learn more about horses, you're welcome here any time." He never would turn down an opportunity to teach people about the creatures that he felt so close to. They were therapy in their own way. Putting the horse back, he left him with a gentle tap on his rump before closing the stall door. "Let's go out to the stable." He gestured for Spencer to follow him. "it's been out of commission for a long time, honestly. My father never wanted to put in the work." @spencerredding

Abraham's heart swelled with her words. "We are." And she was right, that was what mattered above all else. He watched with a softness overtaking his expression as she wiped the stray tears that fell. "Oh?" His brow rose, amusement threading through his words. "Did she know?" Quiet laughter left him and he shook his head. "Well, if that's what she says, it's obviously law, right?" He continued to tease, "But I'd like to make you my wife before we have kids." @georgiaelliot

As Abraham had been busy, Emma let herself follow what she'd consider a typical routine. Visiting the stalls, saying hello to all the horses, doing the things she'd typically do. She was truly in her element out here; horses were something she'd always found really therapeutic and being able to visit since her return to Kismet Harbor. It was only once she made it to Lightening McQueen's stall that she allowed herself a few moments to get acquainted with the horse, saddling him up and leading him out. She'd just finished giving him a brush when she heard Abraham approach. "We were just finishing up, actually." Emma smiled. "This guy was getting antsy but I wasn't sure when he got brushed last so I figured I'd do that to wait." she added. Within what felt like a swift moment, she put a helmet on, mounted the horse and offered him a smile. "Ready whenever you are. And I wouldn't take too long; this one is ready to be on the move." @abrahamxwhitney

The moment unfolded easily, like it knew where it was going. "I'm sure he appreciated that while you waited." Abraham added warmly, watching only for a brief moment as Emma placed her helmet on and mounted the horse. "Ah, you got it." He lifted his hand, saluting Emma and her words to get a move on. Abraham didn't waste any time, pulling his horse, Junior from the stall that he was in and saddling him up. In his earliest childhood days, Abraham could remember having to fiddle with the buckles and adjustments but now it was second nature. It hadn't taken him long at all to get Junior suited up for a ride before he was atop of the horse. "Alright, let's get our move on." He looked to Emma, indicating that she could take the lead. The horse looked far more eager than his own to get moving. @emmajlin

"Hey Abraham," he replied back after turning around. A smile on his face, "It really has been a long time. How have you been and you look good," he added knowing how hard it must have been for the other. @abrahamxwhitney

"I've been keeping busy." Abraham answered easily, one that he gave on a fairly frequent basis. The answer was still honest, but it was one that was more polite than personal. "You look like you've been doing well for yourself, too." He added, gesturing to the man before him. "I'm guessing you're also busy?" A guess that made sense since the two of them had not run into each other in quite some time. "You picked a good time to show up. This place is about to get a hell of a lot busier in the next ten or so minutes with the lunch rush." @vincentxcastro

"She would be proud of you, she always was." Even when Georgia was gone, he'd run into the Elliot parents and they always spoke so highly of their children. It had always been an ache he couldn't ease when he heard of Georgia and her life away from Kismet Harbor. "I'm proud of you." He reached out, taking her hand after placing the snow globe on the mantel. "You're an incredible woman. A pediatrician. A sister. A girlfriend." Abraham tugged her gently closer to him, "The woman I should have never let go in the first place." @georgiaelliot

Spencer wasn't someone that came out to the stables often as riding horses was never something he'd been able to get into. Per his father growing up, horses were 'for girls' and there for Milo Redding never let his children participate. Not that Spencer really minded; he didn't really see himself being a horse guy either way. He much preferred getting his hands dirty or doing something handy. "I unfortunately am not around horses enough to know but I'll take your word for it." he nodded. "I think I watched that horse go through every emotion while I've been standing here so I think you have a fair point." he stated. "Or you're just really good at reading horses, which I imagine isn't too big of a stretch." he admitted. Taking a moment to rub the back of his head, sun beaming on it, he gave Abraham a moment to finish up before he spoke again. "I was actually called by someone here; I don't know if it was you or someone else but I heard something about a barn that may need repaired?" he asked, trying to remember from memory what he'd even been sent out here for. "A barn, a stable? Something?" he was currently drawing a blank and was beginning to think he may not even be in the right place now that he asked the question out loud. "I'm a contractor and when I got to the office this morning that was my task for the day." @abrahamxwhitney

Abraham stepped back from the horse, giving it a gentle pat on the rump as he did so. His hands were coated in the dirt he was brushing off the horse so he wiped them against the pants he was wearing. He knew better than to wear anything that couldn't handle the work he put himself through out in the stables. "I have been reading horses since I was just a kid." He told the other, beginning to unclip the horse from the ties so that he could lead him back to the pasture. "Oh, right," Abraham shook his head, "I'm sorry, I did call about that." Most stuff he could do himself, but didn't have the time. "I'm Abraham, I'm the one that called." He would have offered his hand, but he doubted anyone wanted to shake it in the current moment. "Barn, stable, pretty much the same thing. Just semantics at this point." He gestured for the other to follow, "I've got to put him back out and then I can show you. It's one of the older stables I'm trying to bring back to glory." @spencerredding
