Episode 5 was LOADED with some twists and lore drops. [Spoiler-related art below]
First, Child Elis.
Elis' magic and memory stabilized enough that she could manipulate her form into something upright and with thumbs!
The downside is it was the result of being overcharged with mana, due to not sleeping for several days straight. Haunted by visions of the past she had forgotten, ahe was afraid to close her eyes.
An interesting development was Elis' magic reverting a dying, corrupted dragon into an egg. Which they obviously took back to the shop with them. Elis hasnt really put it down, being close to it when possible.
And Speaking of Odie...
Called it.
(Odie was revealed to also be a Dragon)

To everyone saying it’s not real:
The VOD of Episode 3 is now live! Lots of lore dropped in this one, and it's the final episode with split story. Going forward, future episodes should be tying these three together into a single plotline!
That being said, now's a good time to catch up!

We're hoping to continue this week, but the DM as had a scratchy throat for a few days. As long as it doesn't get worse than that, we should be good to Stream Session 2 on Thursday (Jan 15th)!

// Small rant, but one of the things that always bothers me, is how deeply obsessed dnd players are with rules, with wordings and details, with what is official and what isn't and what got publiced in a book.....
Over an edition that was very, very obviously meant to be rules light, customizable and adaptable.
You got the devs openly saying how they play certain rules differently on their own table, because they make the books for the majority, but they enjoy it differently themselves! And everyone should adjust things as they enjoy them!
You got the very dungeon master's guide talking about how you SHOULD be using different attributes for skills depending on the situation(bringing the examples of intelligence persuasion and strength intimidation, and I think constitution athletics is mentioned somewhere too), and that the appointed attributes are just what is COMMON, to help NEWBIES have a guideline.
You got them talking about how they didn't want to give a draconic subclass to every class, because it would just be...too similar. So..just customize! Pick feats, pick draconic gifts, pick the subclass and shove it in your other class you enjoy!
Just...have fun!

Session 1 Is Done!
VoD will be up later this week (whenever YT wants to process it).
Next Session wont be till Early/Mid January cus of the Holidays, but we had a lot of fun for Session 1! The time off will hopefully give the DM time to Plot, but will give me time to draw my card art cus i havent done that yet--
We fought a major story boss SIX SESSION EARLY cus i failed TWO ROLLS.
On the plus side, Elis NAILED a roll to not only say "Fuck You" to one of the cards and negate its play, BUT ALSO NAILED A ROLL TO ACCESS HER TRUE FORM--
ALSO EARLY.
Starting a new adventure soon!
