watched ep 8 of twelve letters, and i started crying ten minutes in i broke down when ye haitang said she was working at the welfare house cause it reminded her of someone. and the tears haven’t stopped even after the episode ended.
why was life so unfair to them. why didn’t they get to live a simple life?? WHY? WHY? WHYYYYYYYYY? and the worst part is yixun’s actions make sense.
this scene… the writers should’ve just walked into my home and stabbed me in the heart—that would’ve been less painful 😭

According to a major report by the Associated Press (AP), an Israeli double-tap strike on Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis killed at least 20 people, including five journalists. The first strike hit the hospital’s fourth floor, followed minutes later by another that targeted rescue teams and journalists as they were responding to the initial attack.
The report noted that among the dead was Maryam Daqa, a freelance correspondent for AP, along with journalists from Al Jazeera and Reuters, as well as rescue workers and medical staff.
Every day we wake up to harsh news like this, and we feel that Israel is carrying out a systematic policy of killing us in silence, stripping us of our lives and our voices. We can no longer bear this amount of pain and loss, and what makes it worse is the feeling that the world is leaving us alone. In Gaza, people have nowhere left to go. The occupation forces are ordering residents in the north to flee south, under threat of bombing and death. But the south no longer has room for anyone; homes are destroyed, camps are overcrowded, and there isn't even enough land for a new tent.
For days, we've been desperately trying to find a home or a place to seek refuge in the south, but we're confronted with the same reality: no place, no shelter, no safety. Fear and terror grip our hearts at every moment, as if we're living on the brink of constant loss.
The truth is that what's happening goes beyond mere internal displacement; they want to push us out of all of Gaza, step by step, until the land is emptied of its people. This isn't just displacement; it's an attempt to occupy all of Gaza and obliterate the very existence of its people, who cling to the right to life and dignity on their land.
Gaza is being targeted today for complete uprooting, for the sake of control and occupation.
Israel targeted Nasser hospital, killed a journalist, watched through drones as civil defence and more journalists rushed to the scene, struck them again and killed all 4 journalists live on-air.
What is left to say? This whole massacre took a total of 5 minutes to execute yet says everything about how Israel is indeed a genocidal entity comprised of psychopaths hellbent on annihilating any means of life in Palestine.
Israel isn't "unstoppable." Israel's violence is literally funded and enabled. Its terror is not naturally occurring. You would only believe that if you, too, had dehumanised Palestinians to view their suffering as fate; it would be because you, too, had adopted the age-old settler-colonial mindset that native people are not meant to survive.

As the man-made famine in the Gaza Strip worsens and access to food becomes increasingly difficult, we've decided to extend our support beyond agricultural inputs. We are currently working to connect grassroots initiatives with local farmers-allowing crops to be purchased well below the soaring market rates and directly distributed to those unable to buy or access them.

Reminder again as there's an obvious focus on the need for flour, but the people of Gaza need more than just bread and initiatives like this one can really help make produce accessible during this time.
I’ve been angry, frustrated, sad over the past 2 years because of Gaza. But now my anger is reaching levels similar to post-October 7 when all I would do is go online and read dehumanising tweets about Palestinians and how Palestinians are the real aggressors next to headlines stating that hundreds of Palestinians were killed in a single day. It feels eerily similar now, I go online and read tweets denying starvation in Gaza, calling it a form of “Jew-hating Hamas propaganda,” right next to headlines of hundreds dying of starvation in a single day. Israel’s defenders will always be demonic ghouls and you can’t convince me otherwise.
