Appearance and personality: Kind, well-behaved, and soft-spoken (with a deep, calm voice that's sometimes a bit raspy), she is highly educated and usually able to blend in and find common ground with most people. She learned to speak Gothic without an accent after leaving the Hive world she grew up in, but sometimes odd phrasing slips through. While acting lady-like in public, she doesn't like being treated as a noble, and she's sometimes perceived as a bit too friendly and casual with her people. She always speaks for herself, and while she respects traditions and listens to advisors, she ultimately makes her own rules and decisions. She's known to be merciful and compassionate as a ruler, but she can switch quickly - she punishes traitors thoroughly and publicly. People say her kindness is matched only by her ruthlessness toward her enemies.
