Abel's Crusade

 God did, indeed, do a wonderful thing when He created you. Like Joan of Arc to France, He loves you dearly and hates that you have to go through hardships. Yeah, hardships happen, and I can speak from personal experience as a girl who is emetophobic, which is the fear of getting sick or, at worst times, just vomiting. Sounds stupid I know, but because it sounds so silly, tons of people who have this fear are too embarrassed to face it like a real problem. Instead, they label themselves as freaks and this can lead to bad anxiety issues and depression. I can't eat out, so no dinners with my boyfriend at Olive Garden, or with family and friends at a regular holiday party. The slightest mention of vomiting, or if somebody has the flu around me, can trigger my phobia and I'll worry the entire day that I'm going to be sick- for no good reason. 

  The whole point of me saying this is that I know that life SUCKS at times, but it would have sucked even more without God in my life. There was a whole year where I hardly ate anything more than a pack of crackers a day, simply because I was afraid I'd throw it back up, and I wasn't even sick. So, of course I was freaken angry and asked why God would put such a stupid phobia in my life. 

  I don't hold the answers to everything, I just started this blog because I want people to give God a chance. I might not be here now, due to depression, if He hadn't been there for me. I want you to let Him help you too, because you're life is beautiful and deserves to go on. 

 Bad things happen, but so do good things. Never forget that. You happened, and that was pretty freaken amazing.
