The Maryland State House is being decorated with Christmas trees representing all 24 of the state's jurisdictions. Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan's office says garden clubs from around the state are delivering and decorating a Christmas tree from their city or county. The office says the governor, his wife and the lieutenant governor are giving certificates of appreciation and Christmas ornaments to each club. The decorating started Monday and continues Tuesday.

More than 30 Howard County fire fighters battled a house fire in Columbia Saturday afternoon. Fire officials were called to the house in the 5500 block of Eaglebeak Row around 2:15 p.m. for a report of a fire. No one was injured.

Police describe this guy as a "serial armed robber." He's currently being held without bail in connection to robberies in Anne Arundel and #Baltimore. More details at abc2news.com #crime
