Something really gross about how Agnes Nutter is literally the only titular character and how all of her efforts and relevancy in the narrative is rendered null and void by this 'sequel' when she was the narrative, her prophecies were the throughline that connected everything.
Agnes Nutter thought the world was worth saving, so I'm with the Witch on this one guys.
It’s definitely suspect to me how Agnes and her memory completely dropped out of the narrative after season 1 and then became utterly irrelevant thanks to season 3’s resolution.
Terry Pratchett has gone on the record saying that Agnes Nutter was solely his creation: “By agreement, I am allowed to say that Agnes Nutter, her life and death, was completely and utterly mine.”
In retrospect, it’s probably not too surprising that Neil Gaiman wanted nothing to do with a kooky old witch beyond what Terry had already written for her.
So much for honouring Sir Terry’s legacy.
YES, AND...
Agnes Nutter is the personification of defiance in the face of an ugly, unnecessary death. "If I'm going out, I'm taking you fuckers with me as karmically as possible."
There's not so much as a hint of defiance of the finale genocide. That's hideous.
At the end of the day it should not have been continued past season 1. Terry’s ending be damned, he should have been alive to be able to see where it was headed and take the reins but instead his legacy gets tainted with the likes of the mf who clearly revels in our dismay to continuously be a dickhead to women and minorities.
If you actually cared about your story and your characters even despite being an abuser surely you would make sure that they weren’t punished for stupid shit that YOU decided to make happen?? You wouldn’t introduce a storyline and allow it to turn into a single line in the final instalment. Everything was destroyed with nearly no explanation at least if there HAD been an explanation the characters wouldn’t have vouched for their own ruination.

I'm so very tired of the fact that GO3 has solidified the idea that Aziraphale was a fool to try and make a difference. Why the hell was Crowley and his cynical pessimism the moral winner of this story? What happened to hope? Goodness? The will to keep trying even when odds are stacked against you?
All this finale has done is make the idea of fighting for what you believe in not just a bad one, but a stupid one. Apparently Aziraphale was wrong to try. I cannot stand that. He made a difference. He halted the Second Coming. It was Michael and their free will that destroyed the Universe.
Not Aziraphale's apparent naïvety.

i hate that most of their physical intimacy is haunted to the point where i doubt they got to enjoy any of it. they held hands for miracles. they danced but crowley was panicking about the demons outside. he confessed knowing it was doomed. they kissed but it was out of desperation. finger kiss but they are about to die? held hands again but ah too late they are evaporating.
