about once a month I think about that scene from shawn takes a shot in the dark where lassie and henry come upon the gas station where shawn is being held and garth starts choking shawn out so he won’t be heard while the other guy goes up front to make henry/lassie leave, and as this is happening and shawn is desperately trying to call for help he does NOT cry out for his dad. he tries to say “carlton”. repeatedly. what!!!!

Shawn almost exclusively wearing Converses and Vans through the tenure of Psych is probably one of his more unhinged decisions. I've worn those shoes my whole life, there is no foot support whatsoever and he's getting chased on a bi-daily basis. Running either for his life or his dignity with no protection between him and the hard cruel ground. I just hope that Gus convinced him into buying orthopedic inserts offscreen bc there is no way it's sustainable to run full tilt in when the only barrier between you and the world is like five millimeters of rubber. Gus is no better though bc what is he doing running from getting shot at in dress shoes?
