"Yeah, maybe. That shit kinda happens when your kid comes back from the dead." He let her extricate herself from his arms, shoving his hands in his pockets. "So what's heaven like, huh?"

Three years — I think that’s my longest fake relationship. This tale just got interesting. I think our mother is still dead and our father might have been some sort of runaway — she know’s me as James. You should have seen her in that diner; got yourself a handful. Still a dog, but at least she’s got bite.

Wondering if she said too much, or if it was something you could even say to people, she lazily shrugged at the vampire while nodding slightly “Well you asked me to and what else was I going to do? Play charades the whole time?”

He's quiet for a moment, a little lost for words. And then he hugged her again, rocking a bit, because it was probably one of the nicest things he'd ever had a friend do for him. Maybe it was because he didn't have very many "friends". "Thanks."

Of course I remember that, we were with them for what, three years? You'll have to introduce her to your delinquent younger brother that you're trying to keep off of drugs at some point. "Well if you feel like draining me, feel free — that was somewhat of a joke" she smiled only a little, clearing her throat before deciding to look back at him "So — did my watching over Abel help the little dude?"

He grins wide enough that she can see his canines and then ducks away before she can swat at him. His smile falters a bit, not sure if she was joking or not. "Did you really do that?"

I guess its just a normal family dinner. Right now? Killing something, that’s what I feel like doing right now.

Rosa compelled her after Anika refused to — can’t say that’s going to be fixed any time soon. As if I need the warning; the girls don’t know how to play these sorts of things like we do. Considering they always seem to bring them home.

It was a reminder for me, dumbass, and yeah, think we should handle this one. Two hunters dating our sisters is more than enough.

"You and half the city I’m sure" she said while shrugging lightly, turning away from whatever the hell she was actually out there looking at "I died, I was dead, someone decided it would be funny to bring me back. Now here I am. Guess it wasn’t you? Even though I know you love me"
