Hey, I always know what I’m talking about, thank you. Me? I’ve been buried under mounds of schoolwork lately. I have to admit, it’s refreshing to see your face. I would’ve thought that you’d have graduated by the time I emerged from the library.

Just basic combat techniques. They were too slow, and generally using the more ‘showy’ stuff you see in movies. Personally, I think that kind of thing is all they’re good for, to be quite honest – show.

What’s wrong with giving out a few tips?

Nothing, I suppose. But there’re some people at this school who are pretty big on their idea of ‘earning’ things. Best way to learn is if no one helps you, I guess? I don’t really know, to be quite honest – s’not like I’d be taking the test for them.

“No it’s not okay, if I knew my limits this wouldn’t be a problem.” he said through stifled breaths. Rocky stared at Aaron, a light smile on his lips as he listened to the boy speak. “You’re too cute, and thanks for understanding, even if you don’t know what’s wrong with me. Because it is me that’s messed up.”

“Hey, don’t beat yourself up about it, Rocky, it’s not your fault. It’s mine,” Aaron smiled, albeit a little remorsefully. “No way to know your limits if you haven’t reached them once or twice, yeah? At least you know them now, even if it had to be this way.” At the other boy’s words, a small frown appeared on his face. “Hey, we’re all a little messed up. It doesn’t make us any worse of a person. If you aren’t, you’re either a newborn child or a robot, and even they’ve probably seen some shit,” he joked quietly.

So far so good. Rocky was enjoying this time, having control, being able to let his body and himself experience this. Once he found himself lacking control, and Aaron’s hands on his waist, Rocky shoved the other, “Y-Your Hands!” he stammered. His breath now hitched a little, and his gaze dropped to the floor. “I-I’m sorry, I like you, and it’s not that I don’t want to kiss you, but it’s just that…”

“Whoa, whoa, it’s okay,” Aaron backed off as soon as Rocky lapsed in the kiss, immediately thrusting his hands behind his back and holding them together. He knew he had crossed a line, and to avoid further overstepping any bounds, he took a couple steps back before beginning to apologize profusely. “It’s alright, man. Don’t sweat it, I’m–– I’m sorry about that. What I did, I mean. Took it.. too far, this time. And you don’t have to explain anything to me, really. It was my fault.”

It definitely took Rocky by surprise that the other kissed him, but he wasn’t gonna backdown. Gripping the boy’s collar, he rushed and pinned him to the wall. Standing on his tiptoes, he peered up, “Sorry, I make the last call.” he mused and crashed his lips onto Aaron’s. 

“Do you, now?” Aaron smirked against Rocky’s lips, before quickly maneuvering the other boy into a more vulnerable position. Holding the brunet’s wrists fast against the wall, he began peppering light kisses down his neck as he chuckled. “Never thought I’d ever be using my training for something like this.. not that I’m complaining, of course.”

Had the ceiling always had that swirly pattern? I could have sworn-oh no wait it’s going the other way now. I have no idea what’s going on anymore.

Oh man, Grace Judice, are you high? This is absolutely incredible–– wait, this isn’t funny.

Of course you would. Maybe it is, and I’m right here, let’s see what you got.

“Alrighty then.” Aaron nodded, a surge of confidence rushing through him as he accepted the challenge. Leaning forward, he kissed the other boy in a soft but firm gesture, making sure to swipe his tongue against Rylan’s lower lip as he pulled back. With a cheeky smile, he teased, “See? Handled perfectly.”

You’re just putting words into my mouth now.

Nah, I clearly remember you saying something like that.

Uhh, I don’t think I ever said that.

Maybe not, but I can just tell. You know you like my dorkiness.

I’d have to agree with you there. Is that a challenge, Calligan? You know I don’t back down from challenges.

Almost compliment, maybe. This is the second time today someone has mentioned the world ending simply because I’ve been complimentary.  Ha. The day Evie talks to you is the day Rocky gets the top score in class and I run the fastest mile.

Hey, you’ve set some pretty high standards that basically only you and I can make. So when you compliment someone, it’s like they met ‘em and it’s surprising, to say the least. Aw. You’re probably right there, unfortunately. Damn. Hey, I could help you with that running thing, though.

“But for now, I’d like to hear you sing some more, if you don’t mind?”

Aaron’s expression visibly brightened. “Oh, ah–– sure. Um..” He searched his mind for a song, before settling on one of his old favorites. “Ever thought of calling when you've had a few? 'Cause I always do. Maybe I'm too busy being yours to fall for somebody new; now I've thought it through. Crawling back to you..”

“Have you been to the ones here? Some of them are alright, I think; though you’re definitely not wrong on that point.”
