“… Well,” Alina started, looking down at the brace on her arm. “I guess I should have. It wasn’t a real fight. But sure,” she shrugged, looking away and picking up the straw of her drink to take a sip form it. “And it’s done now so… Whatever. Are you going to tell me you’ve never been in a fight before?” 

“I guess all that matters is it could have been worse. You could have broken it,” Aaron commented thoughtfully, watching Alina closely as he took another drink from his whiskey. He’d never had any doubts she could handle her own, but actually hearing about what went down was interesting, to say the least. “Did he at least come out worse off than you did?” He asked, deciding not to answer that last question if he could help it. 

Absolutely perfecting the art of scrolling through her Twitter feed and walking, Whitney was paying no mind to where she was going, or what was around her. She was just focused on all the Old memes from that awful-sounding movie, not a care in the world. Her thoughts drifted from M. Night Shyalaman’s latest trainwreck of a movie when someone muttered an apology and she glanced up, grinning widely at the recognisable man in front of her who seemed to really need a friendly face that morning. “No harm, no foul,” Whitney promised him, “I mean, it could have been worse. You could have gotten coffee on my all black leather outfit I can wash easily. Then, Mister, you’d be in trouble.” She teased.

Aaron paused, looking Whitney over before offering her a nod. Most people teased him about the all black clothing, so it was different seeing someone else wearing the same. “Right. Sometimes I just... get wrapped up in the news, I guess,” He said, waving a hand passively before moving on in the conversation. “You’re the person with the interest in horror movies, right? If I’m remembering correctly?” He asked, thinking back to their brief conversation on the forum. “The Conjuring Universe, I believe it was.”
