Mixed as a continuous-play record, the six instrumental tracks mix natural space and textures with analog synths and spring-loaded rhythms. As a conceptual work, the sounds explore macro-concepts of humanity's decline amidst the stoic beauty of cyclical natural processes. Artist Markus Hoffko, who's recently completed works for Flying Lotus and Debruit, provides the accompanying artwork and soon-to-be-released music video. Magical Mistakesの新しいEP「Decompose / Reassemble」が、7月7日にカナダのマルチメディアレーベルKing Deluxeよりリリースすることが決定した。EPはその名の「Decompose / Reassemble」（分解 / 再組立）をテーマに作成され、人工vs自然という概念を検討しながら作曲されている。６曲がひとつの作品としてミックスされており、１曲目から最後の曲まで途切れることなく続いていく。マスタリングはLeaving Recordsの主催MatthewdavidがDaddy KevのスタジオのCosmic Zooで行い、Flying Lotus, DebruitなどのMVを撮影したニュージーランドのMarkus HoffkoがカバーアートとMVを担当。
