Aquatic Dream

On a saturday night you were laying down on your bed rewatching (for the 1000th time) one of your favorite animes-Sakamoto Days. It was currently 3 am and you were fangirling over Shin; screaming and kicking your feet over how cool he was.

You absolutely loved shin! What's not to love about him? He's kindhearted, smart, brave, respectful, and well..you might have headcanoned him as one of those submissive types..but nothing wrong with that!

He better be grateful you're not in his world. Oh the things you'd probably do. haha.

But that's not the only reason you rewatched it for the 1000th time. What's not to love about it besides Shin?? It had two of your favorite genres; Action and comedy!! It was one of those shows you could rewatch over and over again, and never get tired of.

Anyways, you were starting to doze off and tried to keep your eyes open. You were on this scene where Shin was tearing up.

You then muttered quietly to yourself.

"Wow.. look how cute he looks..i wish i could be the one to..wipe those tears.." and slowly drifted off to sleep, your phone still on, slipping from your hands.

You were sleeping peacefully when you heard the voices of two people, one of a girl and one of a guy.

The girl began poking you and tried to wake you up, but you wouldn't budge.

"Why on earth is this lady sleeping on the floor outside of our store in this cold weather??" said the girl crouched next to you.

The guy replied "could she maybe be one of those out to kill Mr. Sakamoto and fell asleep on accident?"

"I doubt it..but if it were true then she's stupid."

Huh..what are they talking about? Ugh..Why is the floor so cold?

"Miss, wake up! you're blocking the entrance of our store, if you don't get up now, we're calling the cops." said the girl.

You quickly tried to sit up when.. BAM! you knocked foreheads with someone.

You closed your eyes and rubbed your forehead. You started apologizing to whoever it was you just hit.

"Ugh.l'm sorry!! i didnt mean to!!"

Damn that hurt

"No, it's fine. It's my fault for getting close."

"HAHAH YOU IDIOT!! why would you get so close to her?!!! HAHA" Said the girl laughing non-stop, wiping her tears.

"I was just trying to check on her geez!" said the guy back, still rubbing his forehead.

Those voices..why are they so familiar?

You opened your eyes and were met with a pair of ocean blue eyes and messy blond hair. You then turned your head to the side and saw a girl standing next to him with pretty pink hair in a ponytail and dark brown eyes.

What the? Is that Shin and Lu? No way.. That CANT be true.. They must be cosplayers! They did a really good job cosplaying Shin and Lu, from head to toe..wait...no, no.

You took a look around your surroundings and noticed you were in the middle of the street. You then noticed the convenience store called Sakamotos.

What's happening? Sakamotos convenience store? There's no such thing. This can't be right..I'm sure I fell asleep in my room!

You let out a nervous laugh.

Very funny, I must be dreaming.

You pinched your arm to verify.

"OUCH!" you yelped.

The blond haired guy and pink haired girl looked at each other and then looked at you like you were crazy.

I CANT BELIEVE IT!! I..I really am here! No way! this is a total dream come true! Look at how cute Shin is!! All confused- ahh.. Isn't he reading my mind right now?

"Huh? Wh-what are you even-? H-how do you know I can read minds?" said the blond hair male flustered from reading your thoughts

"QUICK! Lets knock her out, that means she must really be a spy after Mr. Sakamoto!"

"WAIT! Hold on lu-!"

And before you could even explain yourself,

everything went dark.

You woke up in an unfamiliar room, lying on top of a bed.

Where am I? This doesn't look like my room..ohh shoot the last thing I remember was knocking heads with Shin and then being knocked out by Lu

You suddenly reached out to touch your forehead and remembered what had happened earlier.

AAA HOW STUPID!! How could I hurt my precious Shin? I must've left a small bruise.

You then buried your face into a pillow.

UGHH!!

You started rolling in bed, letting out muffled screeches.

"Umm."

You immediately froze and slowly turned your head towards the door. It was Shin standing there.

"I apologize i didn't mean to intrude, its just Mr. Sakamoto asked if you wanted to join us for dinner"

Your soul nearly left your body.

"Ill be downstairs." he said as he slowly shut the door.

You slowly turned your head back and buried your face in your hands

Great! First day in another universe and I already embarrassed myself in front of Shin..

You sighed

Oh well.

You quickly sat up and took a look around the room.

Hm? This room looks familiar…If my memory serves me right, isn’t this Shin’s room?!

Yeah… yeah, it is!! I remember seeing it in Chapter 132 of the Sakamoto Days manga. The bookshelf, the window next to the bed, the plant…I made sure to memorize every single detail from one panel!

HOW COOL!! I actually get to be in his room?!

You slowly swung your legs off the bed.

Should I snoop around…? What harm could it possibly do…?

You paused.

Hmm..no, I can’t. Sakamoto told me to head downstairs for dinner. I wouldn’t want them to think I'm suspicious for taking so long..sigh..

You quickly got up and headed downstairs.

There you recognized everyone sitting at the table having dinner.

You saw a white haired male sitting quietly along with a woman and a little girl happily eating.

Woahhh that must be Sakamoto!! Osaragi was right he really does look like a giant teddy bear! Oooh and i recognize that woman next to him, that must be his wife!! Wow shes incredibly beautiful..and that must be their daughter, so cute!!

Next to them you noticed Lu and Hiesuke happily gobbling down food like it's their last meal.

Woww just watching them eat is making me hungry..

You then noticed Shin drinking water.

You slowly stared at his lips and the way the water went down his throat.

Wow look at him chugging that water down..the way it drips from his lips..

Shin suddenly choked on his drink.

"Cough-!"

Everyone looked over at him.

"Goodness Shin, are you okay?"

"Y-yes Mrs. Sakamoto, I'm fine" he said, glancing at you.

Hm? What's this. why is he staring at me? Did he suddenly fall for me and think I'm the one-? Noo, getting ahead of myself. Was it because of what i thought? Wooops.

"You really need to control your thoughts.." he muttered.

"Huh? What thoughts?" said Lu. She then noticed Shin staring off somewhere and followed his gaze.

Her eyes landing on you standing there.

"Oh!" she said, suddenly pointing. "It's that weird girl!"

Everyone turned their heads towards you.

You awkwardly raised your hand and waved.

"Um..Hello!"

What do I do? what do I do? everyones just staring! this is so akward..

You turned your gaze to Sakamoto and noticed him calmly pointing to an empty seat.

"Sit" he said. "You should eat before the food gets cold."

"Ah yes, thank you." You quickly walked over to the table and took the seat next to Shin.

Suddenly your nose started twitching.

Hm.. what's that smell? It smells so good, it’s the same scent from Shins room!

You kept sniffing the air. Without realizing it, you had leaned a little closer to Shin.

"What are you doing?"

You quickly opened your eyes, and met his gaze

Gosh he smells so good if only i could bury my face in his neck and then-

"H-Hey!"

"Oops, sorry i didn't mean to"

Totally meant that

Shin sighs

You backed away from him and stared at the food being served, it looked really good.

You wanted to eat but there was something you were curious about.

Why hadn't Sakamoto already killed you? I mean you're grateful but what sane person would let a suspicious stranger untied sleep in their home and then offer food given the circumstances hes currently in with that bounty?

But again, you were in a place where a lot of unrealistic things happend..and he was the greatest assassin ever so he has no worries. But you decided to ask him anyway.

"So... um... Mr. Sakamoto?" you asked.

He glanced up at you calmly.

"I'm not saying I'm suspicious or anything," you said quickly, "but... why haven't you tried to kill me? Or at least tied me up and interrogated me or something?"

"You don't seem dangerous."

Should i take that as a compliment?

"If you were here to attack me," he continued calmly, "you wouldn't have been sleeping outside the store."

True..

"And before Lu knocked you out," he added, "you didn't try to fight."

Lu suddenly spoke up with her mouth full of food.

"Yeah, but we've had tons of idiots try to assassinate you Mr. Sakamoto!"

"Lu.. stop talking with your mouth full." said Shin

"Anyway," Sakamoto said, turning his head toward you, "just don't try anything funny."

His expression stayed calm.

"if you do, I won't hesitate to knock you out."

Hm? Not kill?

You thought for a second

Oh right..he made a vowe to never kill again..how could i forget. But still, being knocked out again? Yeah no.

"Yes, Mr. Sakamoto. You dont have to worry about me!"

Why would anyone want to make the main cast their enemies? Unless you're a fan of one of the members of Slur/X's group, which is absolutely reasonable. But im only here because of shin and shin only. I'll try to win his heart. He'll fall for me soon.

You giggled to yourself.

You hadn't noticed Shin staring at you from the side. His cheeks slowly turning pink.

After some time, everyone started to leave.

Aoi stood up and wished everyone a good night.

Gently carrying her daughter; who had already fallen asleep, off to bed.

Heisuke stretched before heading out, calling out a quick goodbye.

Lu waved as she stumbled off, clearly still a little drunk.

Soon, the room grew quiet.

Now, only Sakamoto, Shin, and you were left.

Shin glanced to the side and noticed you sleeping on the table. He had noticed how you kept drinking and drinking until you officially knocked out.

Shin turned to Sakamoto and then spoke.

"Mr. Sakamoto, what do we do with her?"

Sakamoto looked at Shin, then at you, before returning his gaze to Shin. After a quiet moment he sipped his tea and then spoke.

"Take her upstairs, she’ll sleep in your room for tonight. We don't know where she lives, and we can't just send her off somewhere in the drunk state she's in."

“HUH? What?? No! Why my room? What if she tries something while I'm sleeping??”

Shin shivered

Even if she has no bad intentions based on what i’ve read..she seems perverted! She could definitely try something else!!

"Are you sure we can trust her? I mean she just showed up out of nowhere, what if she-"

"You can read minds, right Shin? Has she said anything that has raised suspicion?"

Shin shook his head. No way was he going to tell Sakamoto what you had thought about him. He’d surely tease him.

“No..”

He gave Shin a small nod.

"Well that settles it, I'll be taking my leave. See you tomorrow, Shin."

As he was about to leave, Shin suddenly remembered something.

"Ah, I forgot to mention. She did mention X's organization, but she didn't say anything specific that would involve her with them."

Sakamoto paused briefly.

"Alright, we’ll just question her tomorrow.” He said calmly, turning around and walking away.

Now, it was just you and him.

Shin gently tapped your shoulder, trying to wake you.

"Hey... wake up. Everyone's gone."

"Mmm... one more minute, Mommm..."'

"C'mon, it's 3 a.m. Don't make me carry you" he said, sighing.

"Ughhh.." you groaned, burrowing deeper into the table.

Shin leaned his arm on the edge of the table, resting his head on his hand as he watched you. He could hear your quiet breathing.

He then let out a soft sigh.

"Who are you? Ever since you showed up, i've been feeling things I didn't feel before.."

His eyes then lingered on your face, bathed in the perfect glow of the moonlight.

Shin felt his heart skip a beat and quickly shook his head. He gently put your arm around his neck and carried you bridal style.

"Mmm... so warm..." you murmured.

Shin shivered and carefully continued walking up the stairs. When he reached his room, he gently put you down on the bed and stared at you for a moment.

Now, where am I supposed to sleep? Guess I'll have to sleep on the floor..

As Shin was about to go out and get a blanket he felt something grab his arm and in just a second he felt himself getting yanked onto the bed.

Shin suddenly found himself pinned gently but firmly.

Still drunk, eyes lidded, you suddenly spoke.

"Wow...ive waited so long for this..you look beautiful under me. The way your blue eyes are shining brighter than ever under the moonlight."

You put your hand on his cheek and began to caress his face. Your gaze locked with his for a moment, before you leaned closer to him.

“Wow I remember reading somewhere in the manga that a guy mentioned how soft your cheeks are, he definitely wasn't lying.”

You let out a soft sigh.

"You know? I sometimes hate how you're so handsome. The thought of others thinking the same makes me jealous...You wanna know something? You're the only one I have eyes for..."

You continue gently caressing his cheek.

"Hey, I'm only going to do this because I know this is a dream.."

You closed your eyes and gently pressed your lips onto his.

You tasted something sweet.

Hmm..? What is this sweet taste? I thought we couldn't taste anything in our dreams? Whatever..
