Aaisheo

al-Qayṣī: “I have exceeded forty sins (in my life) and I’ve sought Allāh’s forgiveness for every sin one hundred thousand times.”

Translation: Say: “O My servants who have transgressed against themselves! Despair not of the mercy of Allāh!”

Abdullah ibn Mas’ūd: This is the verse in the Qur’ān which brings the most relief.

١. Abandon the sin.

٢. Feel remorse.

٣. Strive to not do it again.

If a man angered him he would say to him: May Allaah bless you.

“Seek closeness to Allah with whatever you are capable of! For verily, you will not seek closeness to Him with something more beloved to Him than his His speech!”

When My servants ask you [O Prophet] about Me: I am truly near. I respond to one’s prayer when they call upon Me. So let them respond with obedience to Me and believe in Me, perhaps they will be guided to the Right Way.

ربنا هب لنا من أزواجنا وذرياتنا قرة أعين واجعلنا للمتقين إماما

Rabbanā hab lanā min azwājinā waḏurriyyātinā qurrata aʿyunin wa-jaʿalnā lilmuttaqīna imāmā
