You could decide that shifting is a lost cause and all the shifting influencers who take meaningful time out of their day to write paragraphs upon paragraphs of how to shift, why its real and more, are just lying, but shifting still remains.

You could forget about it until you're on your porch with grandchildren running around and it will still be there, always ready to take your soul back to a younger you, where you can live all over again.

You could burn every post, every idea, every storytime, every book, but it would still exist; living on through every soul who dared to do more than just dream.

Shifting dances in imagination and willpower and can be caught prancing through endless fields of galaxies, it is everywhere and nowhere at once, it is both the immovable object and the unstoppable force, you and shifting are NOT parallel lines, you are perpendicular.

OK so... so.

Basically I've spent AROUND ⅓ to ¼ of my life knowing about shifting, and for as long as I remember that time I've burned, pined AND perished! To shift. Now, now. Spending one third to a quarter of one's life studying a certain practice typically leads one to know quite a lot about the subject. That has proven correct in my case and I can do it now. I can confidently say "Yep, im a master shifter, I know pretty much everything about it, tried everything, dabbled in typically non-dabbled areas, etc, etc. " FINALLY! Right? Wrong. Unfortunately, wrong. Now that I can do it I don't want to. Its not even that I don't want to but my motivation took the first possible train out of my mind as soon as it knew I was confident in my ability. Half of me is just scared. Like did I ever ACTUALLY want to jump onto a moving truck with Indiana Jones? (Of course I did, and do, but I question nevertheless) Was all my tireless work for nothing? WILL THIS PREVENT ME FROM SEEING TOM RIDDLE?!
