Disregard what Alkaline says. We are not being fed slop, nor have they begun eating people, nor have they gone insane.

Here on Polus, we have contained an alien specimen and are studying it now. Alkaline is on that. The rest of the crew is just making sure the base remains functional and secure. Not much else of note.

To anyone: Is there any reason you can think of for MIRA to hire unqalified personnel other than the virus causing shortage of man-power?

I wanted this job. Now I just find it irritating, if not boring. Even though, I do not want to quit.

The only other reason I can think of for MIRA to employ unqualified crewmates is pure incompetence. But perhaps that is only my cynicism speaking.

To add my input, there just aren't many good options to pick from, simple as that. Crewmates not taking their job seriously, persuing other careers than what MIRA needs, not wanting to be thrown into space, not wanting to die, etcetera.

Not to say death is a concern under MIRA. Some are just irrational like that and will worry about it anyways... Like a plane crash.

How do you feel about the interns "taking the job off your hands"? Are they supposed to replace you or make your job supposedly easier? What is your relationship in general, are you involved in their training at all?

Hopefully replace me. I do not mind. I hate working anyways.

I have been trying to train them both but it is just too exhausting.

Orange Peel is disinterested. I am not the best at reading people but even I could tell they despise doing anything technical. [As do I]

Citrus is too energetic for me to handle. Too impatient to listen, and tries to get ahead only to mess up. Either that, or they skitter away to do something else.

I do not see any hope for either of them.

It was me! I applied to work in the cafeteria!

I can't believe I was instead sent as an intern on this out-of-world expedition! I would have been a great cook, I swear on it!

It's outrageous there isn't even a functioning kitchen here on Polus, either. They really don't want me in the kitchen, do they?

Nah, that's not in my job description. Like I'd qualify for that, anyways.

Captain Yellow does check up on us every now and then, and we all talk to eachother a lot if we have any issues. We're okay, for now. I think we could use a therapist, though. I could use a therapist.

entertainment? we got video games, books, rolling in the snow and bullying eachother. sometimes i like to throw random stuff in the lava and watch it explode. so yeah i think were good on entertainment
