Jiyeon likes to play it cool, but when it comes to art, she gives it her hundred percent. Art, for her, isn’t just a course that she’s taking up in the university, or some subject that she has to do well in. It’s an outlet, it’s her way of life — it is a medium for her own self expression. Through her artworks, one will get a glimpse of Jiyeon’s mind, a glimpse of what her thoughts are during the day. She might not talk a lot, except if she is with her small circle of friends, but she doesn’t need to do a lot of talking, because her art does that for her. She is a self-described weirdo (as all the artists her age are, in her opinion), she prefers comfort over trend, and at 18 years of age, she learns how to live on her own…except that she doesn’t, because she lives with her older brother (whom she fondly calls Hyung and in her story, will remain unnamed). Even if her friends label her as “an interesting person", Jiyeon thinks that she is far from interesting, but of course, that’s just her ego playing the leader role. And with art comes travel, and Jiyeon likes that a lot, but she has to be brought by her brother around town since she’s not yet of age to obtain her own (official) driver’s license. Traveling helps with the artistic inspiration, and Jiyeon needs that in school, as well as in her real life.
