ICE MUST have a warrant to search/enter any property. they will lie and manipulate you to allow them on the premises but if they arent holding a valid document in their hands they cannot legally do anything

They may say something like "our warrant is in the truck," tough shit, have them bring it to you, DO NOT FOLLOW THEM ANYWHERE. Do not leave your property if confronted.

If you are taken, say nothing until a lawyer is present. The exception is if there are bystanders present/filming, then you should shout your name and whats happening

If you are witnessing a raid in your community, wait to warn others via phone as the cops may be monitoring nearby communications and may use that to select their next targets. Warn by code or word of mouth

The outside looked pretty normal

The inside was very old looking, as if the school hadn’t been renovated since the 50s

the classroom i was put in was completely bare. like okay they had JUST finished school but the marks on the wall where decorations would have been were few and far between

There was a giant crucifix on the wall at the front of the classroom. I half expected it to turn upside down the moment I stepped in the room (since i am the exact opposite of catholic)

There were too many echoes for the amount of people in the room

When the proctor closed the door - which was heavy wood - it opened all the way on its own

then when she went to close it it closed itself

also it creaked so much

when we got our break (which was FIVE MINUTES by the way and the test was literally five hours) the hallway seemed to stretch longer as i walked

anyways i would’ve stayed longer to snoop but i was so mentally tired that i went home

BUT i looked up the school and apparently it’s haunted (no shit sherlock)

apparently:

the ghost of a nun who was the first principal walks the hallways near room 204 (i was in 115 so no ghost nuns for me :/)

there are rumors of a student hanging herself in 204 (dubious. highly dubious)

lights turn on and off by themselves

students and teachers have reported seeing apparitions in the reflections of glass doors

and i thought of how nice it’d be

to have your things among my things

along the bathtub’s edge

and i imagined myself running out of soap

and using yours

and wearing you to work, and the grocery store

and i imagined that night, laying down beside you

and smelling your neck
