I pray to the Angels every night. To some sort of white light , to goodness, to what I see as angels.
I pray in the morning as well. I pray that me and Erik will be protected, that we sleep well next to each other, that we will always have a house to live in and food on our table and
Always that I will get through the day and heal.
The truth is I am very sick in post acute withdrawal from alcohol. It affects me physically and mentally so that I canāt function as a person right now. I canāt be in the world.
Sometimes on medication I can go outside.
I am back on Tumblr for it to be my safe space, now that Iām sick.
This is a place where you can always dream.
Today I went to a restaurant, I was surprised, I have not gone outside in weeks.
I went with my love. It was one of the best meals Iāve ever had.
I had an Italian charcuterie board with honeydew melon, pears, cheeses, prosciutto di Parma, Salame Milano and Bresaola. Served with olives and lovely fig marmalade.
Then the best Pasta Carbonara Iāve ever had in my life, it was incredible, and Itās one of my favorite foods, and it was the chefās surprise choice.
Next course he chose was a Risotto with salmon, Parsil, (surprisingly) pears, and lots of Gorgonzola. This is where I found out that I love Gorgonzola, and that I love moldy cheese.
It was an amazing journey for the tastebuds.
For the dessert there was Gino, which I didnāt like since I donāt like the idea of warm fruit, but it was all finished off with a really amazing cappuccino.
Before that we went shopping, and then we came home and Erik went straight to bed. He has work tomorrow as well. He is strong to do all this.
I stole some flowers in the middle of the night.
I have to give in to my sickness, and tell my professor I canāt go to her class anymore.
No school until fall. I liked school..
Like Erik said, I have such high expectations to what I am able to do, when the truth is Iām trying to run a marathon with a broken leg.
Sometimes itās okay if all you can do is hug your pillow and watch Netflix. I promise itās okay.
