1. Ask open-ended questions!

Avoid starting with “should”, “will”, and “when”. Instead, ask “how”, “why”, and “what”. 

Yes or no questions are considered close ended questions and won’t lead to deeper insight. 

2. Get to the heart of the question!

“What’s my soulmate like?” is a close ended question. Instead, ask questions like “What signs might I see when my soulmate appears?” or “What might I do to attract the right partner for me?” 

3. Ask follow-up questions!

For example. Some good follow-up questions to “How can I live in alignment with my soul’s purpose?” might be:

What is coming into my conscious awareness about my soul’s purpose? 

How can I discover my soul’s purpose? 

What is my soul’s purpose? 

How am I presently living in alignment with my soul’s purpose? 

What inner work do I need to do to be in alignment with my soul’s purpose? 

What resources are available to me that will help me to live in alignment with my soul’s purpose? 

What will bring me closer to my soul’s purpose? 

What may stand in the way of me fulfilling my soul’s purpose and how can I overcome this?

4. Consider this!

Am I asking the right question of the Tarot? Is it open-ended and does it allow for deep exploration and insight? Does it get to the heart of the matter? And are there follow-up questions I could ask?

(I shared it on my previous account once too but I deleted that account some time ago so re-posting here). 2) I suggest reading some books not only on their specific pantheon but also works from their time as well, let's say you're into Greek Pantheon so I'd suggest reading greek mythology AND famous philosophers, also Iliad & Odyssey, etc;

3) research online them too! Just be careful and check info you find at least 2-3 times;

4) it might be helpful to talk to other devotees/ppl who work with them;

5) altars for them (their sacred space);

6) research how people used to worship them back then;

7) best days/days they usually are given offerings;

8) offerings, how to offer, what to offer;

9) disposing of the offerings;

10) invoking deity;

11) prayers and every day activities dedicated for them;

FOR PAGANS/WICCANS:

30. Sabbaths:

1) the wheel of the year;

2) all about those Sabbaths:

A) how to celebrate;

B) correspondences;

C) brief history;

D) how to prepare altars for them;

💜Take an item that represents love to you: it could be a rose petal, a stone, a paper heart, etc.

💜Place the item in your palm, and hold it close to your heart.  Try and recognize your love for yourself, think of everything that you like about yourself.

💜Visualize the item radiating love, feel the love flowing through you and the item, surrounding you.
