Excelerate Consulting set out to help improve the quality of decision making within the banking sector. Only a handful of people understand how banks actually work (they are complex) and we want to change that so people can make better quality decisions in less time. Everyone likes to bash the banks, but they are a fundamental part of any economy. If we can help people in this sector make better quality decisions it will benefit everyone. We’ve been modelling and valuing businesses for over 20 years. During that time we developed the ability to quickly identify the business decisions which create value and which ones destroy it. To value a business you need to understand how all its components impact each other and be able to articulate it clearly. We love complex problem solving and learning complex topics – banking has lots of both. We understand that teaching banking can be boring so we’ve made it into a very realistic game that creates a competitive but fun environment. Our passion for teaching others and banking allows us to connect with our customers and help them not only understand the theory of banking/business but also how to apply it.
