Yet another ramble thought:

Let us all take a moment here, and can we just think about Sakusa being the overall little spoon. Like he’ll absolutely top Atsumu’s ass but he always wants to sit in Atsumu’s lap, lay on top of him and likes to initiate cuddles.

Another Haikyuu fanfic thought appreciation.

Can I just appreciate how the entire Sakuatsu fandom knows what Terminal Curiosity is? And can we all appreciate that at one point, we collectively agreed that despite his aversion to germs, Sakusa is a touch-starved soft boy and Atsumu is more than willing to oblige.

I’ve honestly been on a kick with this ship lately so I will be projecting my love for Sakusa and Atsumu onto you folks. 

Thank you so so so so so much for the love on all my other Headcanons. I literally cannot believe how much love they’re getting and I genuinely makes my day every time it check my notifications. 

So... Onto the headcanons 

- Osamu has no clue how the hell Atsumu managed to land Sakusa.

- Atsumu wasn’t even fully aware they were actually dating until one day Sakusa referred to him as his boyfriend in an argument and Atsumu kinda flipped out

- “Omi-kun, saying ‘You’re not the worst choice for a boyfriend.’ in a communal team conversation does not equal a confession!”

-They’re both emotionally constipated so arguments happen when one or the other boils over. 

- Then they’re both reaaally passive aggressive until one of them pulls his shit together and they talk. 

- When they start living together they compete to see who has the longer skin care routine 

- Sometimes Sakusa has bad days, when it’s hard for human contact

- it gets so bad sometimes that Atsumu has to stay with Hinata or Bokuto 

- When that happens they FaceTime at night, text all the time or sometimes talk through the door. 

- Sakusa is doting in his own way

- He’ll be the one to check in on Atsumu bc the idiot can’t take care of himself sometimes

- Like he’ll be the one to stick close to Atsumu in situation where he’s required to socialize

- When Atsumu leaves him to his own devices at a party, he gets a little pouty 

- Atsumu loves pouty Sakusa 

- They don’t really do PDA, the most they’ll do is hook pinkies 

- They don’t kiss very often, but when they do, a personal favorite of Sakusa’s is a kiss on the side of his jaw near the ear. 

- Atsumu likes cheek kisses. 

- I mentioned this in my other head canon but it’s worth rementioning that they have so many houseplants (all named after former and current treamates/rivals)

- Atsumu’s favorite is a Venus Flytrap he named after Hinata. Sakusa’s is a succulent named after his cousin 

- Sakusa takes care of them all and a close second favorite is a fern Atsumu named after Ushijima

- Sakusa and Iwaizumi are friends and they both enjoy watching Oikawa and Atsumu compete to out-Bitch each other

- with proper motivation they can be coerced into going on double dates with their team members (and Osamu)

- They regularly feed a stray cat that honestly reminds Sakusa of Atsumu and he never lets him forget it.

- Their relationship moves very fast bc they’re both the type of people who know what they want and aren’t afraid to ask for it.

- I have seen some fanfics where these two just decide to elope and just randomly announce it in the most Gen-Z way possible 

- May I have permission to adopt this idea? I absolutely love it. 

- Absolutely no one besides Osamu, and surprisingly Bokuto, know they’re dating. So when Sakusa randomly adds a picture of his wedding ring on his instagram (which is pretty well used and aesthetically pleasing) and changes his twitter handle to “Miya Kiyoomi” or something along those lines the world flips out. 

- #sakuatsu trends for literal days.

- One day. Atsumu takes a moment to reflect on his life and comes to the realization that he is, in fact, the gay cousin.

Guys, I’ve been reading too many angsty fanfics lately and I'm in the mood for some fluff. So here it is. Most of these are going to be for after the time skip so SPOILER ALERT!!!!

SakuAtsu

- Sakusa has a routine for everything but Atsumu is surprisingly unbothered and rolls with each and every one of them

- Sakusa always gets Free Onigiri at Osamu’s shop.

- He jokes its compensation for dealing with his whiny asshole of a brother.

- Atsumu and Osamu have a little sister and she loves Sakusa

- They have no less than eight house plants that are all named after people they know (mostly their teammates )

- Sakusa is surprisingly really cuddly when he’s drunk or sleepy but he doesn’t get drink that often 

- Their relationship is a fan favorite

- They may be dating now but they’re still super competitive with each other on the court 

- Sakusa unconsciously picks up some of Atusmu’s accent bc it’s still really strong. 

- I will forever believe  that Kiyoomi Miya is one of the nicest sounding married Haikyuu ship names so there ya go. 

Kuroo X Kenma

- Kuroo obviously gets up earlier and leaves meals out for Kenma when he wakes up

- they have more than one cat

- When Kenma falls asleep streaming, Kuroo carries him to bed

- Kenma likes to spoil Kuroo (Bc in reality i’m pretty sure that Kuroo makes just as much as any salaryman)

- Kuroo owns every single piece of bouncing ball merch.

- He insisted on buying it himself to support Kenma’s business but Kenma has definitely transferred the money back each time.

- At the start of their relationship, they felt they didn't really need to get married to stay together forever

- But eventually the idea grew on them and they did end up tying the knot (I have another head canon >>> Here)

- When their friends start having kids, Kenma is surprisingly comfortable with babysitting

- They’re the equivalent of cool wine aunts of Nekoma

Bokuto X Akaashi

- They're the first to get married, (their wedding was surprisingly small) and the first to have kids (they have a girl)

- Sometimes Bokuto brings his daughter to practice and they all fight over who gets to carry her first

- Akaashi does his best to go to every single one of Bokuto’s games.

- All of Bokuto’s teammates have Akaashi’s number on speed dial

- Date night is on Wednesdays

- Bokuto never leaves home without giving Akaashi a kiss, even though he’s still sleeping most of the time.

- Akaashi owns a lot of Black Jackals Merch and I mean A lot. He has a full drawer dedicated to it. And so does their daughter

- Every other sentence during Bokuto’s interviews starts with “My Husband”

- They have pet lizard named after the Schwiden Adler’s mascot

- Sometimes it sits on his head while Akaashi’s working from home.

Iwaizumi X Oikawa

- They get married too

- In Argentina

- Both teams are invited to the wedding and nobody misses it.

- They make long distance work

- Oikawa’s teammates all think that Iwaizumi’s name is “Iwa-chan”

- Oikawa gets high-key adopted by a cute grandma and her wife who both come to all his games and feed him too much.

- They helped him to learn Spanish

- They make an effort to FaceTime every night. 

- They’re both still close to their Seijoh team 

- Iwaizumi saves all his vacation days so he can spend them with Oikawa in Argentina.

Hinata (actual sunshine) Shōyō probably picked these uniforms out for himself and the team because since he was the founding member of the volleyball club
