I think the idea of Alex being into oil painting is super interesting, I’ve always thought about it but I don’t think he’d ever finish a painting. He’s the type of guy to just paint on random shit like maybe wood offcuts or bits of cardboard but he never has the patience to finish the paintings. Can’t decide if a weird fucked up abstract looking style would suit him or if simple landscapes would. He just has a pile of unifinished paintings somewhere in the corner of his room or under his bed

I think Georgie and Pete would like Michael Jackson’s music, there’s no way they like the same shit as Alex. Aint nobody listening to classical but Alex. Dim listens to whatever’s on the radio, maybe owns a few odd vinyls and cassettes. I can only see Pete owning a few singles on vinyl and a couple of casettes, he doesn’t seem like the type to buy full albums whereas Georgie seems like the type to buy a full album on vinyl or cassette just for one song he likes.

I’ve always thought it would be funny if Georgie was like ridiculously afraid of basil but tried to front like he wasn’t. Saying yeah when Alex asks if he wants to hold him and he just tenses up and kind of stands there while Basil just hangs out in his hands and maybe slithers up his arm. I think he’d crack if Basil slithered up to his neck though and tell Alex to take his snake back.

A few years back I used to have this headcanon that Pete’s family had a cat named Dorothy and she was one of those cats that looked pissed off all the time. Looking back on it I don’t really see Pete as an animal person but I think it was kind of cute

Sometimes when I’m looking for something clockwork orange related on Google I’ll see links to things where people are like let’s make a female remake! Or whatever because they thought the movie was misogynistic and I fear that’s kind of the point but not in the way they’re interpreting it. To me it shows just how violent misogyny can be, the scenes where Alex assaults mrs Alexander and kills the cat lady obviously aren’t done with the intention of being sexually gratifying 💔

Whenever I’m watching the movie and it gets to the flatblock marina scene I get so mad at Pete like bro fucking do something! Do something! Just standing there looking silly for what. Absolute fool 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
