The dream guy I always wanted to bump into since like forever. I saw him years back, the same geeky guy of old, and it was like the classic tale of watching him from afar. It was just a pure admiration of someone who embodied the ideal person I wished to befriend. I saw him alone, silent as if his silence was breathing life to some other universe within himself. I saw him with his girlfriend, I saw him with his friends. I saw him like how I saw everything and everybody else, except that I didn't know if everybody else was as quiet and nonchalant as he was. I saw everything there was to see, but I mostly un-saw them all, but him and about him. Then everything faded into nothingness. I don't know when exactly did I stop looking at him even if i still saw him around, all I'm sure is, I did. I didn't care afterwards.

Then, I had to talk to him, a beginning and an ending of a non-event too trivial it should have been forgotten to oblivion. Nothing happened after that, for the sheer reason that we didn't have any freaking reason to talk about anything. We were not the hi-how-are-you kind of friends. We’re not even friends in the real sense of the word. We’re closer to being just acquaintances. No more, much less. It felt like we didn't know each other. I felt nothing. He became one of the many faces I knew and would forget, and would not matter in my lifetime, or in some point in the future. I wasn’t surprised. I would have been if I felt otherwise.
