flowers: i feel like i just got teleported to 2014-16 era of viral ether/alt-ish/moody pop girl music bitchhhh yesssss. i didn't care for madame bridgit's vocals on this but it has a chance of growing on me. it's also over 3 minutes. rarity these days.

cold: okay okay i like this sound more. madame bridgit's vocals just scratched my ears right it appealed to meeee 🤭🤭 the "uh-huh, uh-huh"s were so cunty!!!

mercy: THE VOCALSSSSSSSS THE HORNNSSSSSSSS THIS IS MY FAVVVVV

long run: the post chorus acapella-style instrumental/bg vocals remind me of pentatonix lmaooo. the chorus and post chorus are really good.

loyalities: OH THE TEAA THE SHADE THE VOCALS THE PLOT IS THICKENINGGGGGG

like you cannot tell me this isn't about her ex i forgot his fuck ass name with his fuck ass face cheating on her w her ex friendddd both people she starred on good luck charlie with with that exact same plot in the show you know what im talking aboutttttt. and the two of them got engaged or married recently, too? the timinggg 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾

oxygen: this track is loud asf 😂😂 at first it was kinda in a bad way, but then it grew on me. i love the post-chorus breakdown. she sounds so good, but that "hey/hit (woah)" took me out brother lmao.

OVERALL, yeah....this hit.

like i'm almost not even surprised?? madame bridgit brought back a lot of beloved sounds of my childhood/teenage years so a lot of this sounded like nostalgia. this ep has at least half of the components of 2010s music as a whole and that's me being serious. it's almost like she never aged 💀💀.

curious: 10/10. i give tens where tens are due and baby, this was a 10. wow. i love love love the beat and the entire group's vocals. this track has a dark and sexy haunted pop vibe. the beat drops in this were siiiickkkk i'm siiiicckkkk. the chorus is so amazing and thriller movie-ish like i'm movinggggg. this is an automatic add to the playlist what the fuuuckkk 😩😩😩 this is such a bomb ass title track, what a strong start. it reminds me of 3rd gen k-pop music as well.

aura: the part i liked the most was the post chorus ("'cause i got something you likeeeeee" like that was so cute). again, this had 2nd gen k-pop vibes to me. like the underdog dancing and serenading the "hard to get" female lead in the middle of the street - THAT kind of 2nd gen k-pop vibe. i liked it less than curious.

sugar rush: video-gamey/housepop-like vibes. ngl, it reminded me a lot of gg music. particularly 5th gen ggs. like genuinely at times, i thought of "404", "rude", newjeans music while listening. i wouldn't be surprised if whoever wrote this usually writes for ggs or this track was originally written for one. it was cute but i liked it less than curious.

bed: i liked this one. the beat and everybody's vocals scratched my ears in an oddly satisfying way. instrumentally, it's not one type of genre/music/sound but to put it simply, i'd describe it as EDM-influenced pop. this track really intrigues me and i'm not sure why. i am interested to know how this was produced. it's not as good as curious but it's the second best track to me so far!

happy &: aww this was really cute too. i wasn't into it at first but by the end, it grew on me. the chorus is really cute. i liked it less than curious.

OVERALL, this is a pretty solid ep. most if not all of the songs had bridges and some had pre/post-choruses (all of them short, yes, but still). it isn't the most cohesive bc i can believe "curious" and "bed" are two songs on the same album, and i can believe the same thing for "aura", sugar rush", and "happy &" on another album - but altogether? ehhh. but anyways oh my god, that fucking title track carried. wowww. "curious" was soooo good like that shit toreeeee. it tore out the fraaaaameee. that is the best title track i have heard in a minute.

法則: the rules: (instrumental only) but it sounds like elevator rich people murder mystery music

serve: that madonna sound, like late 70s disco-based pop but it also reminds me of j-pop city music. this sounds like those two genres mixed together. all that said, nothing about this really stuck out on the first listen. enjoyed the group's general vocal sensuality though, as always.

extancy: this sounds like a spell. lmao. i'm so deadass. wumuti and rui sounded esp sirenlike here. but this also belongs on a runaway likeeee i could see a lot of voguing moves in the choreo- this gave fashion! i'm also not crazy about this one

back 2 back: okay this sounds good so far....okay. yeah this the only track on the album so far that has made an impression. i like the dark, low register vocal direction over this beat. i like the beat. and the chorus is catchy/well-done. while listening, i kept thinking this song had a huge likability factor bc of how tried & true the sound/production recipe of this is...like, it sounds like one of the generic sounds of 2020s kpop --- it's hard NOT to like imo.

hips: AYYYYY ASS SHAKING MUSIC OKKKKAYYY. hyun and haru kinda ate with this awww i like that for them....i saw on twt that hyun (i think?) was rapping about pokémon on the album and yeah this is the track op was talking about. hyun (i think) made poké lingo/references sound cunty though so good for them! i liked this, could def see myself working out to this so it's an add too.

masterpiece: again with the madonna disco dance / city music sound. this honestly felt too short to be memorable to me so no notes i guess. but i feel like there was a good message in this but i didn't have full eng translations so i'm not sure lmao

serve: (instrumental only) funky dance pop, we've elevated from debonair elevator music it seems.

OVERALL, 'back 2 back' and 'hips' were the only tracks i liked liked. the entire ep/album gave sophistication and siren --- certain tracks may appeal more others than me but yeah, these two just stood out imo. not bc they were louder/hyper than the other tracks but also not not bc of that. i hope that makes sense. just listen to the album and you'll get wim.
