School has been fun with the new tool i been learning, this chance that i have received  was the best thing I can do for myself, some people  may say school is not for them, some may say they’ll  go to school a lot and others just don’t  go, but for me I think everyone has a choice to better themself. I think everyone should try it at least, if its not for you then its not, but don’t  try to push some one down for picking school it doesn’t  matter if you are 18 or 50 and trying to go back and learn a new skill or just finish, just do it for you and use the hate or the negativity to help push you up and use it for a good thing, you see I;m a older person who took a lot of time off of school, i did do it when I left high school right away, in fact the summer that I finished school I started summer classes at my community college  and started to study a lot, but then life hits you and you have to help with bills and other things, then i started to work and work came first so i pushed school to the side and worked more and more, but now, I am here typing this up and I am happy with the path I took because now even as i work this full time job, and have to work and study and finish any homework for school, I’m pretty happy with how things ended up.

Japan, here we come! Thats what i would be saying if it opened so I am just getting excited, soon the state of emergency will be lifted  and ill have all my shots and new passport ready for an 11 hour flight trip to Japan! Its been a crazy year, around this time back in 2020 I was trying to plan for a trip to japan for my birthday, but the week of my bday in March, the first locked down happen and everything was closed and my Japan trip was canceled  :-( but I know my trip isn’t an emergency unlike other people and situations that hit harder and i feel for them, i hope we all can get through this and just get back to normal or however normal was for everyone right? So Japan, youll just have to wait a bit longer before The 8Bit Ronin will set foot back in his home land and get to enjoy everything new and old you have to offer, besides that 11 hours of flight that I hate the most i mean come on 11 hours in a tin can 40,000 feet in the air, I think its that much but yeah ugh but as soon as i see on the map 30 min away to land in Japan, it makes it so worth it!! So, Japan please wait for me!! I’ll be there soon!

So this week I had to do an audio file and small video about my self and some of my skills and what I love to show off on my social media  pages and It was fun, I had a chance to share some of my hoddies and what I like to do, from anime to 3d modeling! I had a fun time adding music and photos and just hunting down things I need for videos, I use to do this for youtube and have fun but at times I would talk about a lot and in the end it would kill me to find the photos and to find something matching to what I said, because if I said I love anime but not show what kind or  put a wrong photo of maybe photoshop in the wrong stop and come to find out I did it and then deleted my project  and yes it has happen before :-( but this time around  I think i did a nice job on it, a bit rusty but I am getting back in to my groove :-)

Here is a photo I put together, the art i didnt do, i found some free images and put them together so all credit goes to who first made them! but I did put this together on my own and add the oil effect, i love how it came out and it just worked well with the colors!

So I did it, i made my new Twitch account and had it set up, then I found this amazing twitch layout and over lays that are Japanese theme, I showed it off to a friend and he said it looks nice, but why the Japanese  theme and the name Ronin, so the story behind all of the Japanese  theme is that I, myself am half Japanese , mixed with greek and Spanish  and Italian  what some Irish but I grew up in a greek home in Spain  for a bit so I never really knew my Japanese roots, I would get a lot of time people looking at me and trying to figure out what race I am, I get a lot of people thinking i’m Pilipino because  every now and then they say my asian side pops out. So these past few years I been trying to learn more about my Japanese side and I been traveling to Japan  every year besides these last 2 due to COVID and the first time I was in Japan it just felt like home, like have you ever been some place or traveld and felt like “Wow, I am home” and it just felt like you fit in the right s pot of this puzzle of life and you feel warm and over all just happy. That’s how I felt about Japan, thats why I went with the name 8Bit Ronin and thats why my layout will be of a Japanese theme :-)

So as I set here and type this I feel strange, strange in a fun way because I never did blogging before, this to me is new and in a way fun! I would see a lot of people Vlog and Blog all over the net and youtube, twitch, vine, tiktok, lots of apps all over but I never really gave it much though as in to what you have to do and all the work you need to put in to it, I now have more respect for bloggers and Vloger and understand what you need to do and how it needs to be done. No one can just do it, it takes a specail someone but I mean if YOU wanted to do it more power to you and go for it, dont let me be the one to tell you that you cant do anything, trust me all my life I been told that, people would tell me all the time I wont make money doing art, or ill get nowhere if I play games a lot, that my art sucks and someone out there is better then I am, it did hurt a lot hearing that often from friends and family and other people....... hmmm this post sure took a twist LOL! No to get back on track just, do it and don’t let anyone stop you from being you, I know enjoy blogging and sending out tweets and I am about to stream soon, Ill be showing off more of my art and my 3d modeling and just open up more, I am by fat not a blogger or vloger im just a guy trying out new things, dipping my toes into new waters and just seeing whats new out side of my own bubble 

So a lot of people are streaming now because of the whole lock down and all that jazz, I feel like i want to do it, but Im always thinking to myself that ill suck and be bad at it, im not much of a big talker and to have people watch me do it hmmmmmm but I may give it a shot, we miss all shots we don’t take right?

uggghhhhh working about 10 hours a day for 5 to 6 days some times then working all night with school work, its really killing me now T_T but in the end it'll be worth it <3 Come on 8Bit you can do it!!!!!

This is just an Idea that I talked about before how the game looks andsome of the art :-)

For the past year I been working with Unity and Maya and some times with Blender, I was going to school for game development  and I am almost ready to show off my first game, or demo, if you every played a game called Power Stone for the Sega DreamCast, its a birds eye view arena fighting games a 1v1v1v1 games or 2v2 and you just fight it out, I took the same idea and view but I turned it in to the sushi restaurant that I work, the fighters are me and my co workers and the goal is just to win the fight lol, I made all the items you would find at a sushi spot, like soy sauce dish, chop stixs, sushi and rolls and just random items you would find in a sushi spot and toss and each out and use as weapons, its something I always wanted to do so its almost done, all the love and hard work i put in to it and just knowing that maybe a few people will enjoy, it made it all worth it.
