They head there with Ran, Aramaki and Nijiko with Gengoro and ANGO tagging along. Hana wants him dead but decides against it, thinking she's leaving anyway. They have to climb down a precipice...like how Shigeru died. Ango says he can do it but Ryo makes Hana do it with him instead. Ran and Nijko talk about Mozu which Hana overhears before going down, Ran throwing her a small LED Light before she heads off...and Aramaki gives her a pouch of salt and stuff.

While Koruri and Haru jam out, Ryo decides to tell Hana about Takashi. He tells how he showed up, taught them and was a chill guy...Ryo didn't hate him. Koruri and Haru fly together and Gengoro and Aramaki talk about killing their own animals. Haru invites Koruri with him and Ryo cuts Hana's rope in front of Nijko to keep Ango from killing more people. Oh and he tried to kill Haru.

Hana thinks Ango is going to kill her...uh-uh.

He grabs her and begins to strip her and gets on top of her, saying it's her father's fault for this. Hana says he can't control her with this...and then Ayu walks in on them. Ryo had sent her in case Ango was going to kill Hana and Hana uses the opportunity to run off, Ayu telling Ango not to become a pervert. He grabs Ayu, kisses her and stomps off.

Hana is running off, shaken, before Ryo spots her. When Aota saved her, Takashi helped him by getting the charges dropped. Aramaki finds her and she doesn't tell him to keep things from stirring up. They make plans to leave tomorrow and the others back at the camp tell her that actually envy her for knowing what happened to her parents. She tells Ryusei to watch out for Kurumi because she/s a target due to already being pregnant and tells Karita and Sakuya to watch Ango and protect the woman.

So Hana rereads the diary and is shocked she knew so little about her father. Ran comes in and confirms her parents didn't tell her anything. But Ango has a fever now and Aramaki sees Ryo is making plans...

Ango is being treated that Shigeru used to give him (that gave them their first boners because, apparently, they're also aphrodiasics) and in the present, he's so horny he drags Ayu into bed with him. She pushes him off and Ryo comes in, saying he and Nijko tried it before but she found it too painful.

Anyway, Ango starts slavedriving Hana and keeps watching her, scaring her into planning to leave. She tells Ryo and Aramaki invites himself, who tells her that he doesn't blame her and respects her parents for how they tried the saved the people in the shelter in the diary. Haru pops in to say he's coming too and Hana goes back to finish digging. But Ango spots her and, when she confirms that she is leaving, he drags her off to an empty hut to make her "pay with her body"...

So Ryo checks further and sees she has the same brand as Takashi. So he asks Hana who her father is and Hana gives her full name...and Nijiko recognizes it as the surname of Takashi.

Hana doesn't know and gives very different descriptions of the Takashi Team Summer A knew. But the timeline doesn't lie and, remembering him mentioning his baby, they know Hana is her daughter. Oh and Ran kept the photo of him she got from the shelter so everyone knows it's him. So Hana's a nepo baby, Ango is freaking out and they leave because the water's useless.

Haru and Koruri fall asleep together and Aramaki tells Gengoro how his friends were killed by a tiger. He figures out Gengoro is an animal lover given how he handled his dogs...but Gengoro says he doesn't have the right.

So Ango finds Haru and Koruri coming back and he punches Haru but she sticks up for him, saying she went with him because it was her choice. Ango angrily drags Haru off to gather water while Hana tags along so Ango doesn't kill him. Oh and Ryo kicks him.

While out, Aramaki talks about baseball and Ango says that stuff is useless now. Haru says they have no interest in arts or recreation because they have no sense of purpose, hence why they're so violent. While gathering, Ryo reveals they killed their guide and Haru is left to drown in a marsh by Ango. He's able to signal with sticks and, when Ango pulls out a knife, Hana pulls out a knife.

So Kurumi wakes Hana up and everyone is adapting...but Team Summer A are very crabby when they discover how late they were to the party. Aramaki tells them about the dry season and they make preparations...but just put Hana's Entourage to work, not letting them in on their plans. Ran says she still hates the people who sent her here but she's not hopeless and Aramaki talks with Hana about their parents.

Hana does laundry and talks to Ryusei (Scumbag), who says he knows he's shitty but he cares about Kurumi. He says he will do anything for her...but Hana, having actually talked to Kurumi who complained that he doesn't do anything for her without being asked and brings up that when she and Aota starting asking each other for what they want, she saw it as being lazy. Then she drags him off...

Kurumi talks to Ban, calling him Doctor despite him being a novice because of him calming her about her pregnancy. Later on at night, Ayu cries into Ango's chest about killing her bullies. He tells her that it's not her fault but the teacher's while Haru plays Clair de Bussy for Kurumi.

So Haru goes out into the woods to play music and Koruri follows him to ostensibly watch out for him. But he remembers what Ango warned him about and asks Koruri if it's allowed for them to hang out. But after clarifying that he's not her brother or her boyfriend, they decide he can suck it. So he plays her the Little Dog's Waltz.

Meanwhile, a lonely Hana talks to Aramaki who is crying about what happened to Team Summer A because of his own experiences. Before Hana can cheat on her boyfriend, Team Summer A shows up to probe them Ango asks for their special skills and Hana only meets the minimum requirements. Since she's useless, she's on outhouse duty. And gathering firewood. And when she asks to not make the injured work, Ryo threatens her.

So everyone starts working, Akane bonds with Gengoro and everyone is getting along...but Team Summer A finds out that they woke up 17 years after the disaster so their information is out of date. Ango throws a fit but fuck him, it's bath time.

Hana checks in on Haru and he meets Ango and Ryo. Ango says they have to live together for the others' protection and because they suck, Hana obviously not wanting that. But when she heads back to her peeps, they're in obvious bad shape from the bats' attack. So it's stay outside with dangerous animals or stay with child-poisoning murderers.

When Hana asks Haru, he says Koruri escaped but brought back help for them anyway so they can trust her at least. So they head for Summer Team A and they introduce themselves. They're given work for the morning and a cabin to live in. Oh and Ango tells Haru that he can't play music or get closer to Koruri.

When Ran and Akira call them out for giving orders, Ango says they're elite so they can do what they want. When Scumface says they didn't want to be chosen and he gets bitch-slapped for it by Ango. This is when the others learn Team Summer A knew about and were trained for the meteor and they're seven survivors. But Akira says all that means is that, horrifying abuse or not, they were brought up well-sheltered and had a path laid out for them. Life is a series of tests and they don't get the right to judge others who are common "folk".

Hana is heading back to warn the others and Ango and Ryo want to tag along. Being they're crazed child-poisoning murderers and all, Hana doesn't want them coming along. They don't trust her either but Aramaki says he'll stay behind to look after the dogs and Nobi while she goes off with them. He says if they do anything to her, he'll do something to their home.

She sets off with the two, planning to lose them on the way before Koruri lands and drags off Ban. The others figure out the kind of wood they can burn to drive off the bats and Hana can't lose Ango and Ryo. Ban is taken to the rest of Hana's Dad's Army and is able to treat them. Meanwhile, Haru and Koruri decide to ice the bats and everybody joins in. Haru uses music, the others smoke them and the bats are down.

So the bat things attack everybody and Ango, Ryo, Hana and Nobi are forced inside. Hana, remembering what her father taught her, throws things to distract them while Ango and Ryo join her. Everybody else follows Aramaki's example and burn things to drive the bats off. It works and the bats vanish...but the dogs are hurt.

Aafter hearing how long Aramaki has been up for, Team Summer A invites him back to the compound to talk. So everybody meets up, the dogs are treated and everybody is tended to...even though Noboi is understandably nervous. Even tensions have lowered, Angi is clearly still pissed at Hana and she hates him too. So Ryo points a gun at Hana's head and asks her if she's sick.

When Hana says that they're all fine, Aramaki calls Team Summer A for treating strangers like shit. Ryo tells him not to not order them around and Ango tells him to calm down, asking for Koruri. Then the bats come back to attack everyone outside the compound!

Outside the compound, Hana's Swarm wonders what to do with Koruri. She looks and acts harmless but she's part of the same group that kidnapped Nobi. Kurumi's boyfriend tries to take care of her but she's from a farm in New Zealand; childbirth isn't scary for her. Koruri tries to help but she's pushed away, being part of the same group that killed Izayoi. Then the bats attack and fuckers are carved up. Koruri is traumatized..but seeing a vision of Mayu encourages her to treat the others, going off to get Ban.

So Haru meets Koruri while he's playing Chopin:

She flies off even though it's raining and Haru goes back to the cave to find out that Nobi was located and the most of the others went off to get him. Hana's Posse watch as Nobi is untied because Gengoro protests that they can't force animals to eat human meat and it's too dangerous to do it at night. Even though Ryo senses them, Hana's Latin Kings remain out of sight and find out where they live.

Koruri reports back to Ango about the charcoal and Hana's Pride tries to figure out to save Nobi. Surprisingly, Hana has never been in an actual fight and Kira and Ran remind us that despite their aggression, they weren't fighters in the Old World either. So they wait, observe and stalk to figure out their schedule and Koruri meets Hana again. But Kurumi is getting sick so they have to relocate.

Hana decides to sneak in at night and starts a fire, luring the others out while she runs in to get Nobi. She takes him but is caught by Ryo and Ango.

So while Ango has the old survivor's guilt, Nobi is bringing up how he's a crazy asshole. When he tells Gengoro, he says that while he won't force him to do it, he's on Ango's side. Nobi notices Ayu didn't stop him either...even if she feeds him and is nice to him. She uses himas a human Guinea pig for different ointments while wondering if his team is looking for him.

Hana's Gang are still looking in the ruins of Team Spring's village and Aramaki gives his dogs Momo's shoe to smell to track them. Kurumi needs to rest though so Aramaki takes them to his old cave to rest. They gather firewood, Haru finds charcoal that he can use to make music and one of the dogs finds Momo's other sneaker. But one of puppies runs off and finds Gengoro.

He tries to threaten him off, thinking it might have diseases. Oh and Nobi's getting sick. Ayu "treats" him and reports the results to Ban before he tells her she should maybe...not poison a child? But she asks who will test the medicine then...and of course, Nobi overhears.

He runs off to make himself vomit before he finds Aramaki's puppy. He writes on a leaf with a stick before giving it to him to take to the others before going off to hide. At night, he finds Ango wandering around and is spotted, mistaken for Shigeru again. Ryo and Ayu find them and, when they find a dinosaur's carcass, they decide to make Nobi the next scout.

Ayu thinks he's dead but when she smells his shit, she realizes he's alive. She pulls him out and bundles him up...then she's attacked by a giant gator before she's rescued by Ango and Gengorou.

It's been less than three months since they woke up, having built a cool treehouse for them all to live in. It's basically a peaceful Team Autumn village and everyone is prospering. So Ayu takes Ban with her in secret to see the kid, who is awake and hungry. They feed him possibly poisonous mushrooms and Ayu tells Ban to keep the boy's existence from others.

So everyone keeps working, Ayu keeps feeding Nobi (the boy) but Ango notices Ban's acting strange. He confronts Ayu and he finds Nobi...but thinks he's Shigeru.

But he realizes he's not him and brings him back to the others. Ryo asks what he can do and Nobi says he has a good memory. But when Ango asks if he can memorize a whole dictionary, Nobi says that's not possible. So Ango says he's not special.

He drags Nobi to a cliff face and orders him to climb. But Nobi says he can't, leading Ango to ask how he passed the tests. Nobi says he was just chosen so Ango hits him and orders him to climb. Ayu gets Nobi dome rope and a harness but Nobi can't do it, saying Hana could...and cluing Ango in that one of the directors' kids made it. Angi, remembering his dead friends who didn't make it, says that anyone can't climb will die. Ban points out Nobi just got up and is still weak but Ango says that excuse would never fly with the teachers he hated.

Anyway, Nobi falls, pisses himself and the others take him away. Ryo asks Ango if he wants to become Pervert Teacher and Ango says not to compare him to him but Ryo says he's fine with it...in fact, he wants to gather the other teams and train them too...

So while it's raining, Hibari sneaks away and Hotaru follows her only for Mozu to find her. He gives her the packs they lost before she asks him a favor. Later, Mozu finds Hibari with one foot trapped in the river and she says she's leaving because this is not her team. This is where Mozu tells her that he knew her grandmother and that she was one of the backers for 7 Seeds. Turns out that 7 Seeds wasn't government sponsored...most politicians refused to back it. Only the rich ones funneled money into the shelters. Mozu tells her that Hibari was just born when her grandmother signed her up, giving her back her backpack. When Hibari says that she doesn't need Hotaru's help, Mozu points out that, if she's not stupid, she should use their rivalry to improve herself.

She takes the pack and reluctantly thanks him and Hotaru. Mozu gives her the way of a safe coastline to walk on and tells her something her grandmother told him: Hibari is protected by something great so no one needs to worry about her. Mozu goes back to Hotaru and Asei is making a fire. He has decided to be the team's chef and is making breakfast. Botan wakes up and inspects the ash around them before Hibari finds Tsunomata (the arrow guy).

He got separated from the others after a flood and when he says he wants to see them a visit, Hibari says that she is splitting off from that. He feeds her barnacles, they talk poetry and he carries her off. The others in Summer B discover she's missing but Hotaru tells him to chill, saying Hibari doesn't want to be around because she hates her. But Hibari has luck and strength so she'll be fine.

Asei serves breakfast and remembers he can't have sex with the girls because they'll get pregnant. So that leaves...

BUT he rejects the notion because he's not into anal. Oh and he announces that Hana is with Team Spring, shocking Mozu. Everyone takes to the ship to search for her together and they set sail, stopping at a Fuji to take some supplies. When Natsu thanks Asei for covering for her the other day, he did says he only did it to keep her from falling for him, showing kind acts are a dime a dozen.

Tendo talks to Botan and reveals she didn't have any friends in the old world. So she values the people here. Anyway, sailing:

Meanwhile, Ayu is gathering herbs and goes into the water to get more...only for the chapter to end with her finding the body of Genius Boy Whose Name I've Forgotten!

Aota comes in, pulls Natsu out of the collapsing hut and tells Asei to head out because they didn't find anything. Natsu wants to give him the letter...and she doesn't, knowing putting it off is just going to make it impossible to do it later.

Asei notices something's up with her so he snoops through her stuff and finds the notes. He watches her crumble and tells her not is he not going to snitch, he's proud of her: the old Natsu would never have done this because she's a boring goody-two-shoes. This is a new Natsu, one who doesn't care about anyone but herself. But he still thinks she should hand over, and that she doesn't really love Aota, just the first boy who was ever nice to her. If it was Asei, would she have fallen for him?

Meanwhile, Tendo tries to swim out to the ship but nearly drowns before Mozu fishes her out. He takes out a flute he has and blows, waking everyone up on the ship. He takes his small boat over, tells them the situation and tells them to gather supplies. It's ten or so days...Tendo has been sending down water but Mozu tells her to prepare for the worst. Asei points out Hibari gave them the wrong directions, almost like she was deliberately throwing them out...

He and Aota fight until Tendo tells them to shut up and help, leading them to the hole where Mozu prepares to lower them with rope. Hibari's useless so Natsu has to do it, being lowered while Asei and Aota dig. She does find everybody...but they're completely buried.

Mozu orders for Natsu to be pulled up because there's nothing they can do...but Hibiki says Hotaru is still alive. After several hours, everyone is dug out surprisingly health for paralyzed, starved folk. They harvest the sap that the insects made, the same ones that were feeding on them while supplying them with free sugar. Hibari and Hotaru reunite...and Hibari walks off.

So it's bath time and naked Botan:

Asei wants to fuck her and Botan says fine...as long as he can be a good father. Asei is scared off when she also points out that women are putting their lives at risk whenever they give birth. Nobody's infertile...so the responsibility is theirs. Mozu, in all his grace, asks Botan if she has given birth before because she looks it. Botan says she's been pregnant before and has even been married...but in her last month before birth, she drove while drunk and had a fender bender. She lost the kid, her marriage fell apart and she signed up for 7 Seeds.

Firelflies come out and Botan, Tendo and Asei dance. Botan thanks Natsu for helping and Natsu asks how can she wish for her husband to be happy with his new wife. She says even if they split, she still loves him. When Natsu asks how could do that, Botan says you should want those you love to be happy above all else. Natsu, finally able to look Botan in the eye, decides to give Aota the letter. Asei tries to say he was the one who hid...but Aota is too stunned. His girlfriend is alive...and Natsu feels warm.

So Botan and the others have been trapped in ash for days, Modu having treated her wounds before. She asks for his full name and he gives it, revealing his connection to the prime minister no matters. Then he says he'll disappear and he does. Asei runs off to go after Aota and Natsu so Botan and the others plants potatoes. Tendo's family owned a vineyard so she takes charge...but then it rains, the earth quakes and Hotaru says they have to go.

It begins to rain ash so Botan leaves a letter for Aota and leads the others out, heading for the storage room in Mount Fuji. But the ash falls harder, stranding them on a narby island. Botan and the others wake up buried in ash.

Apparently, they're in a big tree. Tendo tries to climb down and help but they're not actually trapped in ash...it's sap. And they have giant insects to worry about. They made the sap and they're still around.

But the rest of Summer B is still sailing, Natsu still pining for a taken Aota. Good thing Hana is dead, right? Anyway, Hibari goes over to her and complains since she's so shy, she comes off as a bully for ordering her around.Naturally, Asei takes Hibari's side, saying Hibari was trying to apologize and she let it fly over her head.

Anyway, Hibari xplains over dinner that she's from an old family of priestesses keeping watch over a Boulder that supposedly has a dragon in it. Politicians and government people came to have oracles with her grandmother and Hotaru used to switch with Hibari for jobs....Hotaru was more popular.

Anyway, the group keeps sailing and Hibiki uses her senses lead her to the island. Their ship is spotted by Tendo, Mozu and Arrow Guy Whose Name I Forgot but their ship gets stuck. They disembark and find Team Autumn's Village in ruins. They split up and Natsu finds a letter in a house...signed by Hana.
