“Drowning in his colors.” + preference
Tamaki: He was pink. The purest of pinks shone in his eyes, coloring his cheeks frequently, especially when he was near you. His love for you was the brightest pink you’d ever seen; covering and coloring you both. His sadness was a clash of pinks, hovering around him like a shadow. An angry, bold pink covered him when he was frustrated or at his limits, but your smiling face and soothing words could always get him back down to that vivid pink you knew and loved.
Kyoya: He was purple; powerful, wealthy, independent. He oozed a brilliant deep purple, especially when he was in pursuit of you. You set fire to his bones and lit up a passion in him; different from the passion he had towards other things. His anger was a bright purple; almost blinding, as he seethed with fury. His happiness was a calm purple, light and relaxed. His sadness crashed in waves of a purple so dark it nearly turned black. It was the weight of someone with a heavy burden to carry on their shoulders; but if there was anyone that could uplift it, you knew he’d be the man for it.
Mori: He was a deep blue like the sea. He kept you steady, grounded. His smile sent you to the heavens, with a cerulean blue to match. His anger was a darkened blue, almost a stony grey, and it was a sign of caution. The many shades of blue lingering in his eyes were the signs of his intelligence, his wisdom. But his love? The love he had for you was bluer than any of the seas.
Honey: He was yellow like the sunshine. Everywhere he went, yellow was seen his smile and in his laughter and it shone brighter than the sun. His anger was champagne, indicating a warning of what was to come, bubbling up from his fingertips that were sure to inflict damage. His gentlemanly charm was gold, shining in his eyes and the upturn of his lips. But his love? That was a special hue reserved all for you; the yellow dripping from his heart that belonged to you and only you. His hands in yours made you feel it too.
Hikaru: He was red; the most brilliant shade that you’d ever seen. His anger was a bold red, dripping from his veins, down into the lines on his face from the narrowing of his eyes and firm set line of his jaw. His cheeks were a rosy red, almost a pink, when he was embarrassed or bashful. It stood out from the pallor of his face and made it very tempting to touch and make it turn an even darker shade of red. His happiness was a bubbly amaranth, noticeable in his touches but mostly his smile. His smile was scarlet. But his love, his love had to be the brightest red of all. It was a vibrant red that you could feel in your own heart. A red only the two of you shared.
Kaoru: He was green; he was a safe haven. He remained in the middle, understanding and enduring. His own personal growth was a constant lush green. His status was beside it; the place he’d made for himself. His anger was a vibrant green, coming out in his words as he harshly spoke them and couldn’t seem to stop himself. His sadness was a moss green, clouding his mind and dripping from his eyes. His smiles were your favorite; a green that was so light it was almost pale. His eyes shone with a pure green and his laughter was soaked in it. But his favorite was the green reserved only for you. The love he had for you was a lime green; flowing freely from his fingertips and covering you when his arms wrapped around you and his lips pressed to your own.
