Side note: now that I think about it, this could lead to a scenario where the black organization somehow created Conan with Shinichi’s and Kaito’s DNA. If I am being honest, I do not think they would have a good reaction about it.

But 7 yrs after the fact, what if Kaito stumble across this clone in a tank, (maybe used for nefarious means? who knows) and he feels conflicted, but have to take him in, bc this is literally Meitantei, and Kaito goes to Shinichi like: uhhhhh surprise? You have a child (??) 😆 how fun haha

I actually started learning pole dance a year or so ago, and the style+vibes are similar to burlesque, though obviously with a pole involved. It's a very showy and revealing kind of dance, and having never even done normal dance, I was completely unused to it; although it was fun, I had difficulty not feeling a little uncomfortable about it. Then I started thinking about what if Kaito (perhaps in his college years) decided to take up pole as a hobby (he has the muscle and the showmanship for it!), and that made it easier for me somehow? Like, for some reason imagining Kaito doing some of the stuff with me made me feel like, it's no big deal, just a performance for fun. And somehow this worked??

Anyway, I've been doing pole for about a year now, and also branched out into similar kinds of dances like burlesque and silks and stuff, and Kaito has been a reassuring idea all the way, though now I am more comfortable and don't think of him as much. If I really analyze why thinking about Kaito helped, it's probably a gender thing, but that's a long separate topic.

I'm not really sure why I'm saying this, but mainly I just wanted to express that I really do like the idea of Kaito getting involved in a burlesque-type setting, I think it would suit him! I also think aerial silks would be really cool for him, since he already has acrobat-type skills; silks is similar to trapeze in that it's a very circus type of act (in fact, if you want some example silks performances, you can look up the ones cirque de soliel does!), and it's all about having a little bit of drama, which obviously matches with his desire for performance. Pole, on the other hand, would probably not suit Kaito during his actual heists since it requires so much skin to be bared (unless we are *really* going for an adult Kaito), but I still project onto him sometimes and think he would have fun doing it in his life outside of Kaito KID, as another outlet for his love of performance.

Anyway, I'm very much a novice in these things still, but I think Kaito in one of these kinds of settings would be very cool! (And a good excuse to pull out crossdressing too, of course.) That's all, thank you for reading!

The different types of performances are definitely a food for thought! Kaito branching out from magic to different kinds of performances, there's a lot of routes and possibilities for him! ^^

Hi hi~! Sometimes browsing through my favorite artists and looking at their art gives me some ideas; if that doesn't work, looking at bl model shoots on pinterest works too!

some days though, I'm probably stuck because I'm tired, so usually that means I'll just do something else (or rest) and then come back to it after recovering for a bit.

Momo Con was in Atlanta, Georgia, and I've never been there before so it was fun. Super wet and rainy though;; I had to drag suitcases through the storm... 😔😔😔 Got wet and humid, and then went into the artist alley to get blasted by the air conditioner.

While I didn't find any merch I wanted to buy, I became a patron of one of the creators that was vending there! xD! Their bracelets and charms were SO pretty in person, I kept going back and flinging money at them!

Usually, burlesque artists dressed in extravagant colors with feathers. They basically can dance, sing, act, mock, and even undressed. They are the spotlight and center of attention.

I thought this might fit in a fanfic with a setting such as, perhaps, Shinichi investigating a murder where burlesque dancers work and he meets Kaito.

Or

Shinichi found himself in a theater when there are burlesque dancers because there were disappearances close to that place and boom! Then he knows Kaito.

Again, I apologize for my lack of imagination.
