1970 Chevy Chevelle

Pulling away.

I installed the Dapper Lighting led light kit this past weekend. Completely changed the look of my Chevelle. By far the best thing I've done in a while.

And my engine is done for at the moment. Adjusted the valves too much, put the wrong cylinder at tdc and the #3 piston came up and smacked the piston.

Finally doing a cam swap. Gotta pull my engine and trans anyway to fix a leak so I might as well. Comp Cams Extreme Energy 268. Should be a pretty good power boost.

Restored my tail lights today. Just wash it, mask it off, spray paint it silver and paint the inner with a silver leaf pen

Bought a new SS bumper pad and bumper for the Chevelle. She's gonna have such a nice rear. Just waiting on the glue.

And of course a lower radiator hose had to split today

I love the way white lettered tires look so I bought some Tire Stickers. Love tge way they look

A couple shots from a car show a few weeks ago.

I also got a new carburetor during spring break. All of my problems with carbs are now gone. This thing is great. Electric choke, lots of power, and amazing throttle response. Things great. Highly recommended the Street Demon to anyone.

After a long month and a half of waiting I finally have all 4 of my rims and tires on the beast. The wheels are 17x8s with a 4.5" backspace in front and the rears are 17x9s with a 5 inch backspace. And as for the tires I have 245/45zr17s up front and 275/40zr17s in the back. Absolutely no rubbing issues. So happy to finally have new shoes on her. Just need to clean her up for the car show season which is gonna be a little hard to do since shes my daily.

Bought a new set of rims for the Chevelle. Vision Wheel 141 Legend 5 in 17x9 in the back and 17x8s in the front. Had to send the rear tires back cause they might be too big and I'm not cutting anything to make them fit. Ill post pics when they're mounted with the tires in about a week and a half.
