Thanks to @stancestburner for organizing the Stancest Summer every year. Events like this really breathe life into our community! It was awesome being able to participate, and I also had a blast seeing everyone else’s entries. It was so damn FUN!

I also wanna thank my partner, @buffalosauces, for their unwavering support and encouragement of my autism art. Not only did they encourage me, but they also helped me color this piece here (I hate coloring lol). They frequently “proofread” my art before I post it and help me correct mistakes (such as drawing Ford with seven fingers, lmao). I love you, baby! ❤️‍🔥

I finally had a few days off to work on this! This comic ended up being longer than I anticipated (somehow a 2 page joke got stretched to 4 pages), so I ran out of time to do lines or shading.

Prompt 4 for @5summersofstancest was “What More Can I Say?” Ford can say a million words and more about how indignant he is the world doesn’t love Stanley as much as he does.

I actually didn't think I'd do anything for the summer event, but then I was knitting and the sentence "Mabel asked me if my parents didn't love me" came out of nowhere and grabbed me by the throat in a manner of frenzy I have not experienced for a while.

Summary:

After patching things up with Stan, Ford wants to do everything in his power to make up for his past mistakes. When excessive words of remorse fail to communicate the sheer extent of his sincerity, logically, he turns to the obvious alternative: ancient black magic! With the aid of an arcane spell, he resolves to go as far as he must to get his sentiment across and help his brother heal. What could possibly go wrong?
