Adelina and Henri

Young John and Henri had a little accident.

(Oh boy, I recently watched the I am Number four movie again with a friend and had such a drive in with the nostalgia-train that I had to start rereading the books again.)

Gaming. Just sitting around playing games in each other’s presence.

Five and Nine are playing border lands 2 together, screaming at each other half the time. Nines playing as Salvador, rushing in and getting himself killed. Five is playing as Zero and keeps having to go invisible in order to get to Nine and revive him. Fives screaming at him to stick to the plan and Nine is screaming at Five to get better at sniping and cover his back if he doesn’t want to have to heal him. Eventually the two divulge into wrestling where hair is being pulled and ribs are being kicked.

While this goes on uncomfortably close to the TV, the others relax in playing their games.

Sam is playing through pokemon heart-gold while leaning up against John who’s playing space invaders, a game he’s played to max level loading many times before. But it’s comforting, something he knows well and has played since he was a kid.

Adam is on John’s other side, looking over and watching Sam and John play their respective games while occasionally making progress on animal crossing. But for the most part he’s enjoying watching the two beside him play.

Sarah and Marina are curled up on a bean bag playing stardew valley, both taking turns farming and fawning over character dialogs.

Six, sitting on the floor in front of them, is crashing out over blockblast, yelling at Nine and Five that they’re being too loud and distracting and they’re gonna make her loose.

Ella is playing sky or animal jam or prodigy, some game designed for kids because it’s comforting, though she does also enjoy mild horror games like little nightmares and fnaf. Though they’re not good for her nightmares and she would like to enjoy the moment spent together with her found family.
