to each their own artistic interpretation but I cannot see Nanami with the rounded gigachad jawline. when I tell you this man has a chin so narrow and graspable

just realized I decided to display my post-it note doodle of Nanami on a partition wall that’s right in the line of my co-worker.

I got obsessed with Nanami after watching jjk s1 on Netflix and couldn’t stop myself from rooting through ao3 before s2. I kept wondering when someone would finally refer to him as “Nanamin” because that nickname shows up in fanfiction CONSTANTLY. just finished e10 of s2 and oh boy did that scene make me grin. but then I watched it again in dubs, AND THEY DON’T USE IT? presumably bc of the subtle/difficult pronunciation, and the effect of a funny twist on a foreign name is probably hard to grasp. but I sat there for a second thinking “then why do so many writers use it? meanwhile constantly using his comedic dub phrase about how ‘jujutsu sorcerers suck,’ when the original English subs say ‘jujutsu sorcerers are idiots/idiotic.’”
