I see this a lot, no one has actual names, or any reference for names, that are legit Native American, varying among the tribes, for their characters.

Babynames.com and shit like that will give you names made up by white people.

However, I’ve got your solution.

Native-Languages is a good website to turn to for knowledge on a lot of native things, including native names. If you’re unsure about the names you’ve picked, they even have a list of made up names here!

Please don’t trust names like babynames.com for native names, they’re made up and often quite offensive to the cultures themselves.

the shitty thing about having a blog in a fandom like twilight, a book series with only canonically straight characters and minimal poc, a story about fifteen heterosexual couples, a story that glosses over/glorifies colonialism and abuse and pedophilia and grooming, a story that repeatedly and consistently traumatizes its female characters, a story that continually disguises the subjegation of its female and minority characters as empowerment, you often get follows from the type of people who feed into all of it, who want to take the story at surface level, who don’t want to/fail to see/refuse to acknowledge or care about it’s problematic elements. so, let me take this opportunity to formally say that i am a queer brown liberal feminist and this is a blog that reflects that. i believe that the characterization of the native people/other poc in the series are a result of racist and xenophobic opinions and values. i believe that the lack of queer/trans characters in the series are a result of homophobic/transphobic opinions and values. i believe that the repeated subjegation and trauma of its female characters are a result of misogynistic and sexist opinions and values. this is a hate-speech intolerant zone. if any of that doesn’t jive the unfollow button is right there.

In conclusion:

Timmy Turner is trans and used the power of one of his fairy godparents to wish that everyone in his life completely forget that he was born and raised female for a portion of his life, including his parents and his other fairy godparent.

No one asked but Emmett and Jacob definitely both coach rival little league baseball teams! So here’s some ideas for that:

• Jacob’s team is called The Golden Bats

• Emmett’s team is called The Red Wolves

• Their kids are in the 6-8 year old range so they never really notice their age or lack of aging because Anyone Over the Age of 10 is Old

• Alice designs both teams uniforms (because of course)

• Even though they’re rivals, Esme is the biggest supporter of both teams. She wears duo jerseys when they play one another so no one feels left out.

• The Field Banter.

• “Jacob, those jean shorts make you look 43.”

• “Alright, grandpa watch the field not these buns.”

• The kids are always fed and given snacks to take home with them.

• They clap for everyone, either team, every time.

• Co-team bonding dinners at the Cullen House are the highlight of the kids’ season.

• Carlisle takes his job as “team Doctor” very seriously. He’ll switch off which teams games he goes to and will be right in the dugout, armed with his fanny pack.

• Emmett always asking the kids if they’ve had enough water.
