i was aware of the reputation that french movies have but i gotta say i've watched a handful in my life and it's only the ones i've seen in the past few weeks that have fit the stereotype

#like. japanese movies have a similar stereotype but the vast majority of japanese movies either aren't like that. OR! they're horror #my favorite french movie is about a dog that turns into a human and joins a soccer team. cinema.

i should probably look up the parental guidance notes on these movies because this is the 2nd i've started watching in the past 2 weeks to involve a naked woman feeling herself and a teen girl (played by an adult) naked and feeling herself

these scenes make sense in the context but they seem worth mentioning alongside the child abuse and violence that do come up in the movies' summaries
