Quick introduction: Growing up with both his parents and no siblings Kiki (not his real name) was a quiet, obedient kid. His mother was kind and nurturing. His father did his best to be present, despite being the sole breadwinner of the house. They seemed like a close knit, loving family. When he was in 6th grade Kiki's parents moved away from the city and found themselves living a much simpler life in a little village. He had no problem finding new friends quickly but he was missing the ones he had made back in Tokyo. His parents slowly started becoming stricter, especially his mother. Kiki found out that she had joined the church and was living and breathing their beliefs. His father adopting those beliefs soon as well. Obviously they wanted Kiki to join as well but it just didn't sit right with him, he simply wasn't comfortable with it. He tried to endure it as much as possible but when he realized he wasn't being interested in girls the way he thought he should be interested in them he thought something is seriously wrong with him. To this day he is struggling with that knowledge, having been in relationships with women in the hopes of fixing himself. At a certain point he had a falling out with his parents, prompting Kiki to pack up his things and moving back to Tokyo. Without money, without a permanent place to stay. Friends helped him here and there, letting them crash at their place whenever he had trouble finding work. He's often changing jobs, doing whatever he can to make some quick money. He knows he can't live this way forever but for now he is content with it, despite the struggle.
