A very heartfelt reaction to the results of the past 24 hrs. I have gone through many different stages of emotion since last night, anger that a man who ran on a platform of hate has won, fear at what his presidency will mean for not only the people of america but the people of the world and my country, confusion that although he didn't have the most votes he still won (I understand the how I just don't understand the why of that system), sadness that this mans hateful vitriol is the secret voice of many Americans, the kind of acceptance you have when you are stuck by such terrible news but there is work to be done and you don't have the time to wallow, and finally after watching this video I have some hope. Hope that these results will not stop good people from doing good things, that those who are oppressed will continue to fight their oppressors, that those who have lost spirit will find it again. Hope that this one man will not take the dignity of the people of America. Good luck in the coming weeks, months, and years fellow Earthicans. Peace, love, and above all hope 💜💜💜
