I've compiled all my theories together for those interested to read them. I believe like many others that the season is out of order and we need to piece it together so I intend to do just that. Hope you're properly entertained by these.
Who is Who gate?
A sub theory of puzzlegate and rightsideupgate where characters can actually be other characters in scenes sparked by Polyjuice Potion Effect in Chamber of Secrets.
Part 1: Ted and Karen were in the hospital, not Mike and Nancy
Part 2: Mike was in the Upside Down and Lucas pinned Derek down in the farmhouse
Part 2.5: The Wheeler House in S5 E1
Part 2.6: The Wheeler House in S5 E1 part 2
Additional evidence
Part 3: Lucas fought with the Jocks, not Dustin p.1
Part 3.5: Lucas fought with the Jocks, not Dustin p.2
Part 4: Mike is Ted
Part 4.5: Mike is Ted and Nancy is Karen
Part 5: Nancy is the Radio Host, not Robin
Part 5.5: Additional Evidence

We see that the floor of the Squawk and the map they project on the wall resembles a chess board.
G1 on a chessboard is the square the King moves to in order to be safer. In S4, Nancy, Robin and Steve ambushed him, set him ablaze and shot him but he survived. In chess, the king is unable to castle (hide) after being checked (perceived). In the S4 finale and in S5, they didn't know where Vecna was hiding, they couldn't check him (They couldn't see him so it doesn't count...he showed himself instead)
Vecna is considered royalty...
The Undying King....like the king in chess.
Zone G1
This move is called Castling.
The Creel House resembles a castle...
So maybe the reason they have not found him is because he is at home in the Upside Down, not Camazotz. He never left...
It was a 7. Vecna, he got them.
More about the Creel House here.
Labyrinthine....
"Labyrinthine is an adjective that describes something highly complex, intricate, and confusing, much like a physical maze"
Hmm...just like the lithograph by M.C Escher in Mike's bedroom about relativity in S4.
This inspired films like Labyrinth (1986) which starred David Bowie.
Just like Henry's memories, Mike's altered memories and Will's now memories.
Interesting that Steve, Robin and Dustin actively discouraged them from exploring that zone. Henderson does mean "son of Henry" so..maybe they were all compromised.
If I'm correct about the possibility that the Crawl we see in E1 was the first one they ever did (check here) and that Vecna is actually in Zone G1, then it would make sense why Hopper's transport was compromised.
If there are posts that go into more detail about this, please share :)
I believe this was actually Nancy's broadcast for Hawkins High or for the whole school in general. Check here, here and here if you interested in why.
Let's get into it.
• "....can match our very impressive military to civilian ratio" applies to the whole town and also the school specifically because we see that the military are really present in the school. An impressive military to student ratio.
•".....and those free mandatory medical checkups" This is because of the spores from the upside down. This could easily be conducted in school through the infirmary. You have a huge number of students at the same place at the same time. It would save time and effort. I also wonder if this alludes to the intake of harmful substances that was/is rife in high schools.
•"Metal band aid"....medical checkups... infirmary.
•"Study for that test..."
•"Go on that date"....prom date?.... The Snowball?
•Again, the use of the word "kids" hinting at it being a school broadcast. "Don't go sledding, you're going to hurt yourselves" Why would she need to broadcast that from that far away unless she's actually at the school.
We see that Robin finally pissed them off...the military personnel we see at the school in the image above.
"Reiterating their goddamn rules encouraging compliance" Military rules or school rules? Encouraging compliance of the students...hmm
Just a thought, I find it really interesting that Robin is obsessed with the military all of a sudden when the person we expect to be is Nancy. Robin even called them "men with guns" and says "do you see a navy seal looking back at you" in the field scene in S5 E4...maybe it's just because of her encounter with the Russian military in S3 but I don't think so. What a coincidence that we know a woman who is also good with a gun and if she chose to, would eventually qualify to be a navy seal. Hmmm...we also see Nancy facing the military in the finale.
"Low chance of rain" as we see the WSQK tower. This made me think of water and it reminded me of another similar structure present in Hawkins High...
....the water tower in S4.
Is that what we see Jonathan and Steve or whoever it was actually climb? In tales from 85, I think Lumax were at the top. Just thinking, a water shortage is usually associated with power outage. Is that why the upside down does not have water...because there is no power to pump it? No power, no light....dark. Maybe...
Next...
"Keep off the grass" suggests "don't smoke weed" to me a necessary/usual sign in a school full of teenagers/young adults.
"I plan to smoke it". Students would always rebel and do it anyway. What happens when you smoke weed? You get high..... Hawkins "High".
She also says it's an "exciting" day as we can see what is written on the poster. Weed heightens sensory experiences.
Extra: I suggested that Nancy was the Radio host in S5 here and here. I found another connection.
In S4, Fred asked about Jonathan and the state of their relationship and it annoyed Nancy. She says...
It's unusual that we see Robin working in the radio station when she has no history of public speaking but you know who should have it....a journalist....Nancy.
Nancy is a reporter, a journalist. Not just a reporter but an investigative one as we have seen throughout the seasons but a reporter nonetheless.
Roles of a journalist/reporter...
"A reporter is a type of journalist who researches, writes and reports on information in order to present using sources. This may entail conducting interviews, information-gathering and/or writing article" Wikipedia

"....broadcasts"
It's very interesting to me that her brother is the president of the AV club and his close friend, Dustin invented the Cerebro tower that can broadcast to distant locations. I made a post about the WSQK being the AV club and the tower representing Cerebro in S5 here.
The Wheeler House
Nancy and Jonathan hurried out of the house after breakfast. Why? It wasn't necessary if they were just going to the station to hang out with Steve and Robin. Well, what if they did so because they had jobs/school just like in S3 & S4. In S5, all of them hurried out of their houses just like in S4...
There is also something I noticed...
Jonathan (Mike) said they overslept. Read here to understand why I think this is Mike, not Jonathan.
To oversleep means to accidentally sleep longer than you intended.
This means they were late for school but we see them eat breakfast with everyone. That doesn't make sense. If they overslept, it could mean that they missed their means of transportation which would be the Wheeler car. This would explain why Mike, Will and Holly used bikes to go to school instead of a faster means of transport-the Wheeler car we see Nancy drive.
I propose that Nancy and Jonathan went out earlier than them and started the broadcast, that's why we see Steve and Robin in the station after Jancy drove out.
I think this proves it...
Warning!: "The Duffer Brothers" is written here (please laugh)
They were the last to leave the house.
One thing I noticed in this episode is that Holly was really eager and excited to listen to the Morning Squawk. She remembered the time because she said "we're gonna miss it" ..perhaps it was because her sister was the host/speaker.
After the broadcast started, the first person we see is Nancy...
In my other posts about this theory, I noticed that the surroundings indicate the first letter of the name of the actual character in a scene. Read here and here.
The WSQK station
Well, the first time, we see Robin, she adjusts her mic to make this...
We can see this letter clearly formed when she says "me". N for Nancy.
In her broadcast, she says "...fifty five degrees, low chance of rain"
This sounds like what a reporter, a weather reporter to be exact would say. Then she goes on to talk about the events of S4 finale which is a controversial topic in the town reminding me of when she furthered the case of the rats in S3 despite being met with disapproval in her workplace which led to her occupational leave.
Nancy was also seen in S4 at the basketball game, observing it and noting down the events of the game. As a reporter, she must have read a lot of articles and newspapers about Hawkins to know about a lot of things ranging from the weather to new constructions/developments like the MAC-Z and the military involvement and may share her opinions on those things.
I'm not sure but I think that Steve here could be Jonathan or someone else working with Nancy but I may be wrong.
Extra: When there was technical difficulties in the squawk, Steve contacts Dustin complaining to him. Dustin tells him the actual cause of the problem being the remote radio head but Steve doesn't understand. It's almost as if Dustin had to be there for the problem to be fixed.
Dustin says......
"...be there" as in be present. Why would Steve want Dustin to go all the way to where we see the squawk? It's because it's actually in the school so Dustin could've easily gone to fix it but he chose not to.
Extra(2): In S4, Nancy was working in her senior year for her school's newspaper, The Weekly Streak.
The Weekly Streak = WSQK The Squawk
The first letters were just rearranged.
Summary
Nancy and Jonathan went on time to school with the car we see Nancy driving. They may be working together just like in S3. Mike and Will overslept for some reason, maybe they were up late watching movies or something just like we see with Holly and her friend in Holly's memories in Camazotz. They use their bikes instead because Nancy and Jonathan had already left with the car leaving that to be their available means of transport. When there was electrical problems in WSQK, they had to call Dustin to come to the AV club because they were close, in school.
I believe WSQK and the tower is simply the AV club/school broadcast w/o Cerebro.
I also believe we are going to have way more scenes at the school. I'm intrigued.

This includes Byler and Bobgate and is a bit long....
Guys! I believe I have found more proof that S5 is in Mike's mind. I believe the station represents the party's AV club and the tower represents Cerebro. WSQK mirrored is KQSW which is an actual radio station in Wyoming, US.
The KQSW radio station
I find it interesting that in the first episode of S5, we see four people - Robin, Nancy, Steve and Jonathan working together in the WSQK station when usually it would have been Robin and Steve then Nancy and Jonathan separately. I think they represent the party - Mike, Will, Lucas and Dustin.
Read here.
Unlike WSQK, KQSW has a frequency of 96.5MHz. It seems suspiciously close to me. The station is owned by Big Thicket Broadcasting. The company's abbreviation is BTB which reminded me of the person Mike said founded Hawkins AV club - Bob The Brain.
Some things I noticed...
•The Horse (Finn Wolfhard said to wait for the horse).
•Southwest in the logo. The minute and hour hands of a clock overlap 22 times a day. At approximately 8:43, the hands overlap not just in the west but in the Southwest. So, blue meets yellow in the Southwest.
•More on KRKK later.
•Q 96. I believe this means Quarry '96 suggesting that something happened at the quarry in 1996 or 1969. 96 and 69 are strobogrammatic numbers - numbers that look the same upside down. Also, 96 mirrored is 69. Other numbers include 88, 1001, 1961 (maybe this year will also be significant). Why do I think it hints at the quarry? KQSW station is located in Rock Springs, Wyoming. A quarry is an open excavation site with rocks and a body of water. Spring water is groundwater that percolates from rock and soil to form a water reservoir. These are observable in the show. So, Rock Springs equals The Quarry.
Take a look at this...
Its Effective Radiated Power is 100 000 watts while that of WSQK is 50 000 so half of it. Watt is the unit of measurement of power. If we were to assume that it needs the other half of it to be complete and that the station represents Mike/Bob then we would need a source of power that we believe would complete it and I can think of two....
#byler #bobgate
Look at this...
Media West = Mike Wheeler
Dennis Hill = Dustin Henderson?
Dustin did sort of "relaunch" the AV club in S3 with Cerebro which was in 1985, a year after what you see in the image.
I have always found it weird that in S2, Mike says that Bob founded the AV club only after he died. Why weren't we or the other characters informed about this earlier on? Why was Mike the only one aware of the fact if they were all members of the club. After S2 schedule-wise, we then have the First Shadow play where Bob is indeed the founder of the AV club. Michael....what are you hiding?
Big Thicket Broadcasting is a company that owns radio stations so in the timeline we have seen, Bob founded the concept of a "radio station/AV club" but Mike is the first "owner" of the one they launched in S1 as he is the club president. WSQK.
Onto the next....
It broadcasts from a tower on Aspen Mountain..
The WSQK broadcasts from the Cerebro tower.
Aspen Mountain is a mountain surrounded by Quake Aspen trees. This is very similar to Weathertop in S3 as it is a hill surrounded by trees where Dustin and the party built Cerebro.
Aspen Mountain = Weathertop
Located south of the Quarry?
"...can be heard.... in parts of Northern Utah". Salt Lake City is in Northern Utah... SUZIE!
This would explain why they needed Dustin to fix it when it was faulty in S5 E1... because he was the one that created it.
KRKK radio station
This one, I believe is related to First Shadow and bobgate more... Read here.
• AM: Amplitude Modulation. "AM broadcasters tend to specialise in spoken word formats such as talk radio, all-news radio and sports radio while music formats are primarily for FM (KQSW) and digital stations"
In the first shadow, this is what Bob usually did. He usually spoke. While in S5, music was played a lot.
• Yellowstone Road: Yellow "stone" road = Yellow "Brick" Road which was mentioned in S5 by Max in the finale when she was in Henry's memories. She said and I paraphrase.."this is like Oz but there's no yellow brick road".
So there needs to be a "yellow brick road" (Henry) for information (feelings) to be broadcasted from the station (Bob) in order to reach the destination- Emerald City (love/the audience).
• Unforgettable Memories: Memories of love, hurt etc. No matter how hard we try to hide or repress memories, you never truly forget them. We need to remember the good and the bad... to remember the hurt because it means we are out of the cave just like Hopper's letter said in S3 finale.
• Oldies: "Oldies is a term for musical genres such as pop music, rock and roll, doo-wop, surf music from the second half of the 20th century, specifically from around the mid-1950s to the late 1960s, as well as for a radio format playing this music" This has Bob written all over it.
• The first air date is 1938, 88 years from 2026. 88 is a strobogrammatic number. Remember in back to the future, the DeLorean accelerated to 88MPH in order to time travel so maybe this is something.
A translator was added to this broadcast on the frequency you see above. The frequency is the same as the one Bob uses in the First Shadow play.
"BOB: What? That's not accurate! It's not hopeless. (to Henry) Bob “The Brain” Newby, founder of the Hawkins High AV Club. Oh, and make sure you tune that little puppy to 103.5 WBOB and –" INSANE!
What is a translator? "a broadcast transmitter which repeats (or transponds) the signal of a radio or television station to an area not covered by the originating station" Here
What is a transponder?...
Do you pick up what I am putting down?
"....the area not covered by the originating station" is the general audience. A lot of CG truthers are bobgate/byler truthers because of the clues placed in the show and play. Thanks to @cara-ti-amo
They will release the First Shadow play soon but this time, it will show a different perspective of the play and the show in favour of bobgate and probably byler as well when they confirm CG.
This solidifies to me that season 5 and the First Shadow play are distorted memories and that Henry and Bob may have connected with each other more than we have seen. This is a long post but I hope it is an entertaining read.
Extra: The state of Wyoming was admitted to the Union on July 10, 1890. So, cokegate is real #I believe.

GUYS! Do I have something more for you!!! I found something....more evidence.
Let's get into it.....
•Mike is Ted
So, I suggested that Mike was indeed Ted in the hospital here and in the Wheeler House specifically during the bathroom scene when Holly calls "Mike".
Let's take a look at this.....
We see Joe Chrest shown on Mike and what's interesting is that it is the name of Ted's actor. So I'm led to believe it was indeed Ted here. We also see Jake Connelly which is Derek's actor written here so maybe one of you can find out what it means. I believe it could mean that Derek in Camazotz could have actually been Mike because when Henry threatened his family, he mentioned his elder sister, mother and father so maybe there is something there. It could also mean that Derek is Ted in some instances as you would observe that they do look similar and have similar glasses.
The Wheeler House
In S5E1, we see this....
Ted calls Holly several times and had to yell her name because she was engaged in her book - A Wrinkle in Time. The book is in the frame and this is important because to the audience, Ted knows that she loves that book.
In the hospital, we then see this...
It causes "Mike" to think because not only has he seen that Holly loves reading that book, she has also told him that Mr Whatsit in the same book was her imaginary friend. Yes, it was Ted she told about Mr Whatsit at school, not Mike and I talk about it here
The Hospital
"Mike" then suggests that Mr Whatsit is real and could have kidnapped Holly. He asked "Nancy" if Holly had ever spoken to her about Mr Whatsit but she replies..."her imaginary friend from the book?". She doesn't know the name because Holly never spoke to her about it, she only told Ted when Ted and Karen picked her up from school.
It's undeniable that they are both unreasonably clueless and it doesn't makes sense that they wouldn't realise that it was Henry immediately. However, it makes sense if the people in this scene didn't know about the strange happenings in Hawkins....Ted and Karen! That's why we felt they were too slow because in actuality, they didn't know about anything we or the main characters do know.
•Nancy is Karen
To prove that Nancy is Karen in the hospital scene...
Karen's name is Karen Childress.
The name Childress means and I quote "... suggesting a meaning akin to one who gives counsel to children or guardian of children" Read more here
So basically a caretaker/parental figure. Who do we see dress as a candy striper in the hospital scene?.....Nancy!
A candy striper is a hospital volunteer. While it is usually teenage girls that volunteer, people can choose to volunteer at later stages in life. Read more about them here. I quote...
"Additionally, other people choose to volunteer at later stages in their life, particularly after retirement"
So...Karen could have been a candy striper. There is also the fact that Karen has been told that she looks good for her age.
Duties of a candy striper....
"Greeting visitors" (welcoming the Byers).. "helping with light cleaning" "housekeeping... provide comfort to newborns.... limited patient interaction..."
We see throughout the seasons that Karen carries out all these activities in her home, not Nancy.
Those patients they can interact with are majorly children/teenagers and senior citizens as there are just volunteers, not medical professionals. Also, newborns are children just like Holly.....Childress
So, I'm led to believe that Nancy is Karen and I also think that it means that not only was Mike hospitalised, Nancy was as well at some point.
Extra: Remember what I said about the surroundings hinting at the first letter of the actual character's name in a scene? Check out this post to see some interesting examples. Here is another. I hope it intrigues you...
T for Ted
Look at the windows behind and in front of "Mike". The window frames form a cross which is the small letter "t". THIS IS SO INTERESTING!!!! (to me) :)
What if the Turnbow Trap was actually in the Wheeler House?
A Web in DnD is a trap.....
Sticky webbing = Barb wires
Get it....web, spider, Henry Creel...
Read here.
The webs are flammable. Hmmmm....
Turnbow Trap = Wheeler Web
During S5's press run, the Duffers and the cast told us that Episode 3 - The Turnbow Trap was a reference to Home Alone, a Christmas movie released in 1990 where traps were set up by Kevin to discourage a serial killer.
Looking deeper, there is a difference and that is the fact that in Home Alone, Kevin sets up traps in his own home while in Stranger Things, it is in the Turnbow House. What if it was actually in the Wheeler House and that is why there are photos online showing the Wheeler basement thrashed. Please share if you have it.
In E3, they seemed pretty conversant with the house when I believe we didn't see them with the layout of the house initially. It was also the first time they were in there. They also seemed really reluctant as they basically destroy the Turnbow House and we see no repercussions of this. Is there any post going into more detail about this?
Just saying, we never go back to the Wheeler House after Holly's kidnapping, the exception being the epilogue. Maybe it was left inhabitable.
If it was the Wheeler House or somewhere more familiar, it would explain how well set-up the traps were and why they would've taken the risk to trap and tag the demogorgon. Idk, maybe it's a reach but I feel there is something here.
I think season 5 makes more sense in reverse and here's why. I noticed something in the first episode....
How does Mike know what Vecna looks like? In S4, the only people alive who have actually seen him are Nancy, Robin and Steve. Max as well, if she is really alive (I hope).
Well, if what I claim is correct, then Mike had already seen Vecna and it was in S5 E4.
And as we see, he survived and remembered what he looked like...rotting, noseless and wrinkled.
Let's revisit what Mike said in the first image.
"....rotting bastard is dead and gone and never coming back"
"..never coming back" because Vecna did come back...in E4! Through the MAC-Z gate!
In summary, Vecna came back in E4, Mike sees him and remembers what he looks like and plans to stop him in E1. Please be kind, Rewind.
I also think the crawl was originally for Holly and I talk about it here.
I believe I have found something. Just in case I haven't said it before, I don't think Jancy is endgame for a lot of reasons. The most undeniable one is WSQK. It hints at a relationship between Steve and Jonathan instead. I made a post about it here. Also read @strange-anni's reblog. It's really good.
Here is what I noticed....
We all said that this meant that the canon couples would be Jopper, Byler and Jancy? Well, if you look at where El, our protagonist is standing, she separates Jopper and Byler from Jancy. Even the huge heap of smoke in front of her separates Jancy from the rest.
What does Jopper and Byler have in common? Well, their relationships were built over time. A random person (Murray) didn't tell them they were meant to be together before they started loving each other. Jancy, on the other hand, are trauma-bonded. Nancy says it herself in S2 when she wonders why they only communicate when they need to get things done. I've also been wondering if Nancy ever spoke to Jonathan before Will went missing. Jonathan usually picks Will up from the Wheeler's but we don't see anything between them not even a glance to indicate there was something there. It was Will and then Barb's disappearance that brought them together.
Take a look at this.....
Jopper and Byler to El's left then Jancy to El's right.
Remember that El normally bleeds from her left nostril....
On El's (L's) side equals good/safe/real
On the R side I think could possibly indicate a Code Red.
On the right side with Jancy, you see a helicopter above and they are usually used to rescue people suggesting to me they (Jancy) both need to be rescued from their conformist relationship. Their situation is an "emergency" but don't fret, Steve and Robin will come to their rescue soon...
Conclusion
Every day, I get more confident that Byler, Ronance and Stonathan have been hinted at throughout the show just like Korrasami here and would eventually become canon, that is if death is out of the equation for these characters. I'm really excited! Woker things is canon.
I don't mean to say that Mike is Ted in all of season 5. I'm talking about certain instances.
Do you remember this?
This is when Mike picks up Holly from school. I don't think this is Mike. If you look around, you would notice that he doesn't have his bike. So how did Holly get home if Mike wasn't with his bicycle. Well...I believe it was because there was no bicycle. It was the Wheeler's car.
Holly's teacher spoke to her parents when she noticed that she was talking to her imaginary friend so I'm led to believe that Mike wasn't here. He was preparing for the Crawl. So, Ted and Karen would pick her up. Oh! I have a theory that the Crawl was actually originally for Holly and not Vecna here. Do check it out.
We see Karen talking to the teacher. So where's Ted?...
We know that the Upside Down monsters are real so it doesn't make sense that Holly tells Mike about Mr Whatsit and monsters and Mike has no reaction to it or rather not the reaction we expected. Well...what if he really did believe that monsters weren't real. Take a look at this.....
Mike would know that monsters are real and would try to protect Holly from them but you know who doesn't believe in it and is oblivious to the obvious things around him.... Ted.
He doesn't believe in monsters/strange happenings.
Finally, in the Wheeler house when Ted and Karen are having an argument, Ted says this....
I believe this is because Holly revealed to Ted in school that she did have an imaginary friend. In this case, he defends her because she spoke about something personal with him while Karen is worried. Holly never told Karen.
I don't know how this would affect the heartfelt scene where Mike gave Holly her DnD figure. Maybe that scene happened somewhere else in season 5.

Guys! I noticed something.....hope this intrigues you.
We were told that they executed 37 crawls right? I believe that is a lie. Here's why.
37 in Roman numerals is this...
X is a lie!
If this is true, that means that the 38th crawl would have actually been the first one...the one!
This explains why everyone was tensed, why Joyce didn't want to involve Will, why Hopper wasn't sure if he was going to live or die, why he didn't want to involve El. If this was the first one, it explains why El was training for so long and why she was very upset that Hopper didn't allow her to.
If they had done 37 crawls before the one we saw (get it.. please laugh), why the uncertainty and nervousness? Why would Hopper get trapped if they have done this before? Hmmm. That's why it was named "The Crawl". It was the first one they ever did. The First Crawl. (just like TFS).
One of the areas where the plan for the crawl falters is the conscious neglect of somewhere more accessible like Lover's lake. Now, I think the reason it was neglected is because of the military's tight surveillance. Also, because, I believe, they didn't have El to damage the cameras telekinetically and that they couldn't risk exposure or maybe it was because of something else. So where was El, you ask?...
El was in the Upside Down.
What was she doing there? Looking for Holly with Hopper. Oh, forgot to add that we see El looking for Holly first before she meets Hopper in the Upside Down. Hopper said she disobeyed his orders. Yes, she did. She went in first.
El's training was initially to prepare her to confront Vecna but then it changed when Holly got kidnapped. She wanted to help look for Holly. That's why Hopper and El argued in E1.
Why would they want to execute a crawl when they know how dangerous Vecna is? Well, it's because the whole idea was brought up and executed because of someone else.....HOLLY!
That's why we see Nancy and Mike explaining the plan in E1. It is because they were the ones most affected by Holly's kidnapping. The Crawl was about rescuing their sister!
"The Crawl" episode SHOULD be immediately after Holly's kidnapping in E2. We are to move backwards!!! Please be kind. Rewind!! ⏪
Take a look at this....
The first one is in E1, the second one is in E2. Holly was in Vecna's mind here in E2 and Will looked through her eyes in E1. When Will was dizzy, that was him being linked to Holly because of his link to Vecna and the hive mind..."I was Vecna". Holly had already been kidnapped in E1!
This is the moment that kick-started the execution of the crawl...after Holly's kidnapping.
This was when they decided that they had to go into the upside down specifically to save her. It was because it involved Henry. So, they formulated an elaborate plan to go through the MAC-Z gate unnoticed and find Holly. This is also why I believe that both Nancy and Mike were in the Upside Down here. After Hopper stopped responding, they decided to go to the upside down using Steve's car.
The crawl failed and that's why they had to resort to other measures like the Turnbow Trap in E3. It was all for Holly.
Thanks for reading. Feel free to share thoughts. Hope this makes sense:)
This twitter post was posted during S5's run but if we rewind, we see who the shotgun really is. I believe Ronance will be endgame. Just like Stonathan, it really is in the promotion.

Robin makes sure to clarify that she and Steve are just friends. She emphasises it in fact. I believe it is because even if she is uncertain about Nancy's feelings for her, she wants to make it known to Nancy that she is available.
Also, Robin knows Jonathan and Nancy's wish to go to college together. If you watch this scene, she says this in a slightly annoyed tone. How does she know that? Has Steve been talking to her about Jonathan and Nancy? Remember in season 3, Steve says he is not in love with Nancy anymore (I don't think he ever was) and I believe he was honest there so why does he still talk about them? Well...I think it's because of Jonathan. Just thinking....
Hmmmm... I really believe in this and if, after the wait, it is finally confirmed, I would rejoice. Hope this makes sense:)
