We should move forward without trapping ourselves in a cycle of regret and self-blame, knowing well that we cannot change what has already passed; it has simply become a lesson learned. Let us live with kindness and mercy toward ourselves."

If you are watching this, you might think this traffic jam is for work or a major special event. But actually, this is Abha in my country, Saudi Arabia!

These are just visitors and tourists during the summer season. It has become an annual tradition because the temperature here is low and the weather is rainy, even though 80% of my country currently experiences temperatures well over 35°C (95°F).

"I don’t know what has changed, nor do I understand what is happening in our reality and what we will experience in the future. Everything now has a 'modern' method or style; healthcare, parenting, travel, and even the most trivial matters now have specific ways of being done and presented!

The paradox is that what I learned from my parents, and what they learned from our grandparents, is exactly what I will teach my child—the only difference being the available tools. Yet, strangely, health now has endless methods and 'gurus' teaching us how to be healthy and natural, even though our ancestors lived healthier lives than us with less food quality and a simpler lifestyle

The same applies to parenting; we now hear about 'modern parenting'—as if there was an 'old' one! Generations naturally learn from previous ones; the core of parenting is passed down and copied through time, differing only in cultures and tools.

As for travel, while only the tools have evolved compared to two or three decades ago, the experience itself has become overly complicated. It is no longer about leisure or work; it has turned into luxury, extravagance, and documenting experiences (for show), moving away from mental healing and discovering other peoples and culture
