Hello everyone! I’m in Japan now! Hopefully I get to post even more exciting content. In case anyone wanted to cry their eyes out with me I translated some of the Youtube comments for the MV. I was so touched and happy by the amount of positive and simply amazing feedback!

After hearing this song, I knew why Odake-san (Masato Odake, lyricist) said “Ryuji is a guy who takes the little things in life and gratefully accepts it as happiness.”

隆二の声は心に響く。

なんか凄く癒される気がする。

囁かれるような声が逆にいい。

やっぱ隆二の声最高。

As I thought, Ryuji’s voice is the best.

“自分の核となるものを歌いたい”そう言って紡がれた言葉は「人への感謝」「声が無くなるまで伝え歌い続けていくこと」強く優しい彼の確たる決意と覚悟。

ひたむきに、真っ直ぐに歌と向き合い、あの尊い笑顔の陰で人知れず努力を重ね、大きな物を背負う重圧と戦いながら、時に歌に試され、それでも歌に救われながら支えてくれる人達を大事にしてその想いを胸にステージに立つ姿。ただただ尊いです✨
