In honor of Ramiâs birthday, and because I love astrology and have never really seen anyone talk about Ramiâs astrology chart before, I wanted to write it all out and make a post on it!! His chart is so interesting to me and I hope itâll be interesting to you guys too! I broke down each placement(sun, moon, etc) and put what each planet means before explaining so hopefully itâs not too confusing to read. I also wrote out my own notes/ramblings which is basically just me talking about how great Rami is and how I donât understand why heâs so underrated, I wouldâve added that here but then this post wouldâve been too long.
Note:
- I donât know how someone got Ramiâs birth time but itâs on google so thatâs how I know what it is
- This can all apply to Sami as well obviously, but since they werenât born at the same exact time it could still be a smidge different. Also two people, twins or not, can have the same chart placements but those placements can still manifest differently in both.
- This is also a more basic breakdown of his chart , thereâs obviously way more things to look at but I didnât wanna confuse anyone too much and while I love astrology Iâm also not a professional and still have a lot more learning to do
- I know the sun and moon arenât planets but in astrology theyâre referred to as planets
Some Astrology 101; Planets, signs and houses
So in astrology the planets, signs and houses are all connected to each other. Itâs a bit confusing so here is this analogy I saw once that made it so much easier to understand for me; think of an astrology chart like a movie. The planet is the actor, the sign is the role the actor is playing, and the house is the location of the movie. So Ramiâs sun is in Taurus in the 11th house. So the actor is the sun, the role the actor is playing is Taurus, and the location this character is in is the 11th house. Sun represents the ego and where someone shines their energy. The way he shines would have Taurus energy. And the location that this energy shines in the most is the 11th house, the house of friendships, community, and social causes.

Ramiâs astrology chart placements;
Rising sign(Cancer)- first impressions, mannerisms, appearance, and way of going about life- caring, nurturing, empathetic, sentimental, imaginative, emotional, in tune to other peoples needs, sensitive, moody, private.
Chart ruler(the planet that rules his rising sign)- Cancer is ruled by the Moon, so his chart ruler is the Moon in Virgo in the 3rd house. The chart ruler represents the main theme of someoneâs chart. So a major theme in his life could be putting all his emotions and care into communicating and expressing himself with words.
Sun(Taurus in 11th house)- ego, self expression, personality, identity- in his ego he is; devoted, productive, determined, persistent, resourceful, reliable, affectionate, and stubborn and this is shown in his friendships, community, social life, social causes, and group activities. He thrives in friendships and groups!!! Heâs a natural and motivating and inspiring others and makes a great leader. He loves to be surrounded by people he loves and he pours a lot of energy into others.
Moon(Virgo in 3rd house)- emotions, feelings, needs- his communication and thinking skills need to be as perfect as possible, can overthink and overanalyze too much, and he can be his own worst critic. Skillful and sensible, everything needs to be organized and done perfectly to feel emotionally secure.
Mercury(Gemini in 12th house)- thinking, communication, intellect- in his communication and intellect, he is clever, witty, and curious, could have creative and intuitive endeavors to express these emotions. Original and quick with words and ideas.
Venus(Gemini in 12th house)- love, affection, attraction, relationship- in love he is very communicative and loves to have deep and exciting conversations. Has many avenues to explore. Likes alone time, values his privacy. Likes to explore artistic and communicative avenues in private first.
Mars(Taurus in 11th house)- desire, passion, drive, energy- exerts energy and passions into friendships, community, social life, and group activities. Friendships and community have stability and security, very dependable but stubborn. Slow to anger but donât get him angry!!!! A great independent leader!!
Jupiter(Libra in 4th house)- optimism, abundance, luck, success- by being diplomatic, easygoing, fair, charming, and open, he will find good luck, success, and fortune in his home life, security and stability, inner-self, and domestic matters. A successful home life with peaceful family surroundings. Good fortune in being a mediator and keeping the peace between others. Can be all things to everyone. Might come off as passive aggressive or indecisive at times.
Saturn(Libra in 4th house)- structure, restrictions, responsibility, discipline- wants relationships, home/domestic life, and inner self to be structured and serious.
Uranus(Scorpio in the 6th house)- independence, originality- he expresses himself and shows his talent, creativity, romance, and pleasures in original and unique ways by being magnetic, passionate, intense, and driven. Can sometimes be mysterious and secretive when it comes to his self expression. Individualistic and inventive in self expression and creativity.
Neptune(Sagittarius in the 6th house)- dreams, imagination, illusion- in his work, services, habits, routines, self-improvement, and health he is adventurous, spontaneous, optimistic, and outspoken with his dreams and imagination. Dreams big. Idealistic.
Pluto(Libra in the 5th house)- power, transformation, control, evolution- his power, transformations, control and evolution in his self-expression, creativity, talent, and romance is charming, easygoing, peaceful, and fair. Change and inner growth comes from relationships. Deep relationships with others. Relationships grow and evolve in areas of self expression and creativity.
Descendant(opposite of rising sign, so Capricorn)- attraction, close relationships, desired partner qualities- his desired partner qualities and attraction when it comes to significant relationships are responsible, ambitious, realistic, disciplined and productive.
Midheaven(10th house sign= Pisces)- reputation, public life- in his public life and reputation, he is seen as imaginative, artistic, compassionate, inspirational, hospitable, gentle and illusive. Pisces is a misunderstood sign. People could project onto him a lot.
Imum Coeli(Opposite of midheaven, so Virgo)- self-image, private persona, early home environment- his private and home life is modest, organized, careful, helpful and sensible.
South Node(Aquarius in the 8th house)- comfort, inherited talent, natural abilities- he is most comfortable with his natural abilities when he is helping grow and transform others by being independent, original, unpredictable, innovative and eccentric.
North Node(Leo in the 2nd house)- development, calling, lessons, potential, life path- his biggest calling and life path is when he is being generous, creative, brave, and entertaining with his own worth and values.
Lilith(Scorpio in the 5th house)- shadow/dark side- his dark side comes out when he is being intense, magnetic, driven, passionate and mysterious in his creativity, self-expression, talent, entertainment, and romance.
Chiron(Taurus in the 11th house)- childhood wound, how you heal others, hidden gifts- his wound and how he heals others come from his self worth, values, stubbornness and inflexibility in friendships, social activities, dreams, and associations.
Part Of Fortune(Libra in the 5th house)- good fortune, worldly success, happiness- he will find good fortune, worldly success and happiness when he is fair, easygoing, cooperative, peaceful, charming and polite in regards to his self-expression, talent, creativity, leisures, pleasures and romance.
Vertex(Scorpio in the 6th house)- destiny, future, luck- his destiny and luck is to be passionate, magnetic, powerful, driven and mysterious in his services, self-improvement, work, routines, productivity and habits.
Ceres(Cancer in the 2nd house)- nurturing, growth, comfort, how we nurture and want to be nurtured- he nurtures others by being the mom of the group, protective, and takes good care of others. Provides a safe and secure space for others. Wants the same in return.
Pallas(Gemini in the 12th house)- wisdom, courage, strength, creative intelligence- his wisdom and creative intelligence is clever, curious, witty, chatty, adaptable and anxious, and since this is in his 12th house it can be more hidden and subconscious than public, which adds to him being misunderstood.
Juno(Libra in the 5th house)- commitment, serious partnerships, loyalty, soulmate, devotion(platonic and romantic)- wants balance and and equality in relationships. Will attract and be attached to charming, easygoing and peaceful partners. Wants excitement in relationships. Most important relationships will be with people he shares creative and exciting endeavors with.
Vesta(Leo in the 3rd house)- Inner-strength, aspirations, self-discipline- has the aspirations and inner-strength of being creative, entertaining, generous and brave when it comes to how he communicates and thinks. Has a desire to express himself freely when it comes to communication. Wants to stand out when it comes to his creativity and thinking.

I understand how people have their favourites!! But when i see instagram accounts or blogs for the âborhap boysâ that donât include Rami it rubs me the wrong way a little, especially since heâs the only poc.
I see a lot of Rami under-appreciation on here with headcannons for the âborhap boysâ that just.. donât include Rami. Even with silly instagram memes. I saw one that was âyou only have $200! pick who you wanna keepâ and Rami was âworthâ the least out of the 4 guys. This is definitely old news; I think iâve seen someone talk about it on here before but oh wellllll I feel like ranting. you can ignore
I agree with you! When I first wandered into the tumblrdom of Rami fanfic, I had to wade through 100s of Ben Hardy fics that tagged Rami. I think Ben is a total cutie, but I wanted to read RAMI fic. The cross-tagging was insane and exactly as you said: âBoRhap Boysâ but Rami was nowhere to be found.
Iâm glad weâve carved out a niche that is properly tagged and Rami-focused; I think a lot of BoRhap stans (especially insta-focused ones) glommed onto the Ben/Joe/Gwil trio bc they posted so much more during the pressapalooza. Which, I get thatâs how stan culture is built (celeb interaction).
But like you said, itâs hard to ignore the fact that Rami doesnât ... look like them.
Y'all can cry "I'm not racist" all you want but it's really telling when you can easily write about the 3 white men in your imagines, headcanons, or their friendship and camaraderie between them, etc. but the singular poc guy is left out. đ¤ˇââď¸
There is literally no reason why Rami should be left out of these things. I especially hate it when they leave him out of things that involve the castsâ friendship. Heâs clearly one of their best friends and even though they donât post him on their social medias much (out of respect for him because he doesnât like social media) doesnât mean the fandom shouldnât include him. There shouldnât be âI donât know how to write him I donât know him enoughâ because we really donât know any of the boys??? And you can watch interviews of him and see his basic personality if you want like itâs really not that hard???? And saying âheâs too intimidating to write or post aboutâ isnât a good excuse either tbh like Ben is a bit intimidating to me too but I still write/talk about him like I just donât think thereâs any good excuses to not include him. Especially when youâre including Lucy and even Allen like you include everyone BUT RAMI???? Nah thatâs fucked up. Rami Malek Appreciation Week- May 10th: One Friendship Part 2
Iâm a bit late I know but I wanted to make a little post about the most underrated friendship! Theyâre so supportive of one another and have such a genuine friendship!! During Borhap promo Gwil would always talk about how Rami was the perfect leading man on set and Rami would always say that Gwil was âthe perfect Brian Mayâ :,) I remember during award show season in 2019 I made a video of all those clips because even then their friendship was underrated! Iâll find the video and reblog it!!
Rami said in an interview last year that the first socially-distanced outing he had when UKâs lockdown restrictions eased was at Gwilâs house and that shows how close of friends they still are!! Theyâre best friends!! They have such a wholesome friendship I canât believe how underrated it is!
I made this fan art on the Sims 4 last year! Itâs a recreation of the photo Gwil posted last year of all of them at Ramiâs birthday in 2019!! Itâs obviously not perfect but I did try my hardest to replicate it as accurate as possible! And hey Joe recognized it so thatâs a win!
