Steddie | 2/10 Not very compelling to me! None of their interactions really stood out to me. I feel the fandom mischaracterizes both of the characters a lot when they're shipped together. I think I'd be more interested in them as a platonic friendship if Eddie were to live.

Ronance | 6/10 I really appreciate and respect this ship as a big femslash ship. I love both of these characters individually and the idea of them kissing does make me happy.

Jancy | 4/10 Not that interesting to me! I appreciate what they symbolize to each other and they're often very sweet to eachother in canon.

Stancy | 5/10 I just think theyre neat ok.. Season 4 my catnip.. I just like it when they care for eachother very much...

Byler | 1/10 Soso sorry I just dont care about them 😭. I do however enjoy thinking about Will's unrequited crush on Mike! 😌.

Lumax | 9/10 Theyre cute!!!! The best canon couple. My sweeties. I do love that theyre always breaking up though and I think a post-canon where they break up, and get back together even then would be interesting. Or like, where Max is having a hard time and tries to distance herself again like she did s4 and Lucas doesnt let her and makes sure they're still friends when they breakup. Idk.

Elmax | 8/10 She literally restarted her heart!! Man, thats devotion. (And yet s5 canon...) El Deserves to kiss girls idk. Max too, but i think El deserves to feel superduper nice about something that makes her "different". Imagining El finding some peace in a queer community, since she can't really talk to her lab siblings, and finding belonging there. Ough. And imagining El getting to show Max about girl kissing and repaying her the favour Max did for her in season 3 (introducing her to a life beyond boys). Like yes you could easily have Max knowing she's a lesbian during that scene and introducing El to girlkissing then but i think this is also fun c:

Henderhop | 3/10 Yes it's cute but it does nothing for me sry..

Lucas/Will, Lucas/Dustin, Will/Dustin | 3/10 They're cute ig. I can't think about them pre s3 (other than like babycrushes) without cringing cause they're so little. (same for elmax i just hadnt thought of it cause all their interactions are in s3 already) I'm grouping them altogether because i really dont have big opinions on any of them and it would get repetitive. If there are any ships with them that include Mike I've never seen them. (other than byler lol.)

Stonathan | 5/10 They're cute. Frenemies to Lovers. They can be bitchy at eachother. They're fun. 😄

Stoncy | 10/10 I Loev Them. Adding the Third in there makes me appreciate Jancy, Stancy and Stonathan more somehow. I love a post-s4 where they become buddies then act on their rekindling/forming crushes on eachother. I love a s2 au where they add Jonathan to their relationship and become a throuple. Idc if its unrealistic they deserve eachother. They're the cutest.

El/Max/Lucas | 9|10 They're cute. They're my cuties. El and Lucas has always been a great dynamic in the show and that s4 hug where she hugs Lucas and says sorry?? Oughhh. So tragic. Their shared grief is tragic and wonderful. I imagine them getting extra close to each other while Max is in a coma and Lucas reporting to El often about her state since she's not allowed to enter the hospital. Them being there for eachother when they're having a hard time, sharing in their love for max. And when Max gets out of the mind world shes sees how close they are because they love her so much and she can be conflicted, because she lost so much time in the mindscape, but her two favourite people, who she hasnt talked to in so long in her grief, are right there and were waiting for her :)) (sorry for this long ramble woops.)

Eddie/Chrissy | 2/10 Not for me!

El/Mike | 3/10 They're cute ig! I don't think they're right for eachother in the state they're in? I guess? I feel like they never really connected with each other past puppylove or boy+girl=kiss? I'm kinda into aro!Mike honestly! What everyone likes to call his repressed homosexuality is what i like to call Amatonormativity (big word i had to search up how to spell). Mike and El are obviously very important to each other but i think of the relationships more of in how they affect each other and what they mean for eachother. The ship itself doesnt spark joy but the characters do, iykwim.

Heather/Robin, Chrissy/Robin | 3/10 These are grouped because i see them in the same way! I only ever see Heather/Robin if they ship Billy/Steve and i only see Chrissy/Robin if they ship Eddie/Steve. I appreciate them as a femslash rarepair but cmon. I can see Robin having a crush on them but i don't think she'd approach them tbh. And i don't find a post-highschool moment that interesting here. Maybe They're the one to approach Robin? And they have a secret semi-toxic relationship? oooo Chrissy and Robin could bond over their toxic mothers i suppose!! And we know nothing about Heather except that she's a lifeguard with richrich parents! Woopdee! (maybe i shouldnt have grouped these, sorry!)

Billy/Steve | 2/10 I really cannot fathom any universe that they would get together except for one where Billy moved to town a lot earlier, or before Billy tried to assault a child, for being black nonetheless. Like, before he revealed himself as a violent racist. See, i enjoy the idea of a toxic enemies with benefits until i remember Billys a pos, y'know? And i wouldnt want to take that away from Billy just to ship him.

Nancy/Chrissy | 7/10 Okay. Putting this on here is self indulgent because i dont think anyone ships this but i saw a beautiful fanart of these two smooching and it blew my mind. Something about them really appeals to me. I really don't know how to explain it. But everyone should open their hearts to my special rarepair with zero screentime, okay?.. Chrissy lives in this au because the sadness i would feel at Nancy losing another loved one breaks my heart too much.

Joyce/Karen | 6/10 I don't think about them often but when I do they make me happy.

Joyce/Hopper | 1/10 Nothing about this makes me happy. He isn't right for you girl! 😭Free yourself. When has he ever made you happy!! They're not even interesting together!

He shouldve stayed dead in s3. She shouldve gained a complex about all her bfs dying tragic. We shouldve gotten her a 3rd bf to put in the meat grinder. #New Fic Idea.

Robin/Vickie | 8/10 Wish we knew more about Vic. They're adorable though. I choose to believe they're still together in canon. Vickie is a 10/10 sweetheart and had great chemistry with Robin in their scenes.

Joyce/Bob | 3/10 This isn't really a ship but I like them together a lot more than Hopper and Joyce. They're wholesome and he respects her and is nice to her children and wanted all parts of Joyce.
