LUA !!!

hi!!!!! i haven't gotten an ask in so long!! i think its only the second one on this account lol this is so exciting

ok so the oc i've been posting recently is actually my fursona so she's basically just me! but here's some info about her:

her name is ELiSE (but it's ok to type it like Elise or elise or ELISE, i just think it looks cooler like that :p) you can also call her eli or lili ^____^ i named her after the the cure song since it's my fave band :3 i also like that her name has similar nickname options to mine but that was just a coincidence

when i was a teen i'd make a lot of self portraits and art based on my own experiences but over the last few years i've become more and more embarrassed to share that with others or to even create it at all.. so i made a SUPER self indulgent oc to represent me! i gave her the same hair cut i had like 6 years ago and made her an angel cat since thats been my "brand" for almost a decade :3

all my drawings have a bit of me in them but i never get to truly express how i feel and i think that this can help me deal with the shame of showing who i am.. a big thing for me is that i want to be known and understood, i want to be able to share the good and the bad and still be accepted and loved!!!

i think my art has been evolving a lot but it's like i'm a bit detached from it...how can i expect to be understood if im not being truthful about how i feel?
